Dog Days Training Center

I just recently had my 6 month old Belgian Sheepdog go through the Board and Train Program. This is the 2nd dog that I have trusted to Laurie Buffington and her amazing staff. ( My 7 year old Belgian Sheepdog still has good manners I attribute to his start at this wonderful training center) I can't begin to express how valuable it is to have their expertise, help me with their training. My dog's responsiveness and attention is spot on due to his stay at Dog Days. He came home happy , healthy and a much more grounded and obedient dog/ puppy! As hard as it is to give them up for two weeks, it is well worth the time they spend with these loving and capable trainers. 100% recommend this training for any dog. Now...I just have to keep up the good work. Thank you Dog Days.

Laurie and Sally both are very professional and let me know from the start that the success of owning a well trained dog has a lot more to do with the owner than it does the dog. They provide resources and give excellent advice on how to properly train your dog so that they can be a good dog to have around and will listen to you. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for dog training who has either not gotten any professional training or is looking for ways for their dog to start on a path of better behavior.

Words and cost can not express the tremendous value Dog Days Training Center offers. They truly understand the mindset of a dog and help you to reevaluate everything you thought you knew and help train you to train your dog. Our mini aussie is 10 months old and people are shocked by her incredible behavior and manners when they hear she's not many years older. She wouldn't be the best potential of herself if it weren't for the trainers at Dog Days and the local resource they connected me with. Do it, its worth the drive and every penny it costs to have the dog of your dreams!

Dog Days is the best of the best! 3 of my dogs have been through the program and I wouldn't consider anyone else to help me train and care for my dogs. Additionally, my friends and family have been so impressed with my dogs' manners, that they have taken their dogs to Laurie for training as well. From board and train, to group lessons, to one-on-one's, the methodology is no nonsense and tried and true - this program works as long as you listen and practice what they preach. I have learned so much from Laurie and her staff over the years. Laurie is the utmost professional who knows, understands and cares extensively about the success of the dog and the family. My dogs are incredibly well-behaved on and off leash, and have excellent manners in our home and out in public. When my daughters were young and we welcomed our first Bernese Mtn Dog into our family, I knew I needed to have an incredibly well trained dog that would not jump on, bark or scare not only my own daughters, but friends and family too. Ensuring that Laurie's program was started with my dogs at an early age provided them with an excellent foundation to thrive in life.
