Timothy has made such a positive difference in our lives since we started working with him. When we first contacted Tim, we were overwhelmed by our rescue dog’s reactivity and anxiety. We felt truly stuck with a situation that wasn’t improving despite our best efforts. Tim immediately helped us understand what was going on and why our previous training efforts weren’t working. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, perceptive, and skilled at simplifying training techniques. After a few months, we’re having so much more fun with our dog, and her quality of life has greatly improved. When emailing multiple dog trainers, Timothy stood out clearly because he was more interested in learning about my dogs and their care rather than focusing first on payment. He met with our pups at our house and worked with us in a private session. We felt so much more confident with our guys just after one session. It is clear that Timothy wants to give you all the tools you need with clear understanding that is relatable to you. It is also very apparent that he will be available as needed with any further issues we’d see with our dogs and with follow-ups. I’d give an extra star if I could.

We rescued a two year old untrained shephard mix from being euthanized at a high kill shelter last month in LA. I knew very little about her and I was terrified of how to introduce her to our home with a small dog and cat. It was very scary. I reached out to Timothy the day we arrived back to Portland and he met us out our house that same day to assist in the introduction. We've been meeting weekly since then and he has been a life saver for our family. His systems are easy to follow and armed us with the confidence to take things at our dogs pace. She improved immediately once we started follow his systems and training techniques. We also really appreciate his light-hearted often funny approach to how he explains dog psychology. It made these really tense situations feel manageable. I am always so much more confident and relaxed after each session. Timothy is the best and I can't wait to see what a wonderful dog Lily becomes with his continued help. Highly recommend! Especially for dog introductions, leash training, aggression, and reactivity.

Timothy is a dog whisperer! I scheduled my lesson with Timothy to work on leash manners with my one year old German Shepherd. I have recently adopted him from the shelter and am trying to work on new behaviors. Timothy met me at the location I most frequently walk my dog and immediately identified the triggers that make my dog anxious during walks, and best methods to reduce those triggers. Timothy brought a transition leash for us to use, as well as doggy treats for motivation. Over the course of our session I instantly saw improvement and felt more confident in my abilities to properly manage my dog on a leash moving forward. Thank you, Timothy!!
