Dog Basics PDX

Timothy was able to come same day to help me start to introduce my pitbull to his new kitten! Timothy knows his stuff and was able to give examples to really make the training I was doing make sense, and was so effective. I am so proud of my pitbull for the hard work he did today and I am so excited to continue our training so they can become best buddies. Thank you for everything, Timothy! You made our day!!!🥰

Tim was absolutely fantastic! His suggestions, tips, and immediate assessment and understanding helped immensely. A little over two months ago, I got an almost 6mth old rescue malamute/husky who had been on the streets in LA for over a month, with zero training and anxiety. Add in a 7mth old kitten/cat - and you can imagine. While I've had another malamute/husky/wolf mix rescue, all dogs are different. Tim's impact in guiding me, giving me skills, his patience and coaching have allowed me to breathe, not be bitten or lose my mind, saved my cat, and really - saved my relationship with Dude (yes, I named him Dude!). I've already given Tim's name and info out to a couple friends, I sure hope they call him. I can't stress enough how important it is bringing Tim in - no matter how much experience one may think they have, there is always something more to learn (for both us and our beloved pets) Thank you Tim!

We worked with Timothy for one session with our reactive dog and within the first 2 mins of meeting he was already providing feedback on how to correct some of Mochi’s behavior. During the training, he explained Mochi’s behavior and temperament and how to watch and correct them, and he was also correcting how we react to Mochi. We were seeing progress within the hour, and we are still using the skills we learned to this day and her progress has been insane! We definitely recommend him for any doggies in need of some behavior modification!

I’m so happy I found Tim and can’t recommend him enough! His hands-on approach has been a lifesaver in training my puppy, Dani (and me)! The hardest part of her training so far has been her harness, and at our first session, Tim explained what was happening and how I could adjust my tactics. She immediately took to his method, and it’s been a breeze ever since. Today, he helped with her barking and reactivity on walks, and by the end of the session, she was doing great! I just got back from a walk where I talked my husband through what we learned, and she didn’t bark at multiple dogs and even a cat! What a win!
