We had such a wonderful experience with Alena with Dean’s K-9! She was warm, caring, and incredibly informative. Alena taught us everything we asked for and tailored the training to meet our dogs’ individual needs. She met each dog where they were in their own training journey and helped them progress further than we ever anticipated. We’re so grateful for her guidance and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate and effective trainer!

Signed up for obedience training after adopting a 6 year old beagle with unknown previous training. Had a great experience and my trainer Alena. She worked with us and altered how we should train our dog as it became evident early on that the dog had been previously trained and feared tones on an e-collar. She helped our dog with fence aggression towards the neighbors dogs as well as gave great advice when other issues arose. She was also responsive to text messages when I had questions outside training sessions. Very happy with everything we learned and did.

My wife and I recently finished puppy training with Mackenzie. Let me start by saying, SHE IS AMAZING! From day 1 she proved to be very knowledgeable and willing to help with anything we needed. She gave us a lot of information that was new to us regarding our aussie's behavior, quirks, etc. since we previously had shelties. Mackenzie started by first asking us what WE wanted to focus on and accomplish during the training. That was a great way to start things off! From that point on, she went through the do's and don'ts and always explained the whys. We started seeing results within days of the initial training! During the week, she would also reach out to us to see how he was doing, and every training session started with a review and current status update. The main thing here is to make the time between each session to enforce the training in order for your pet to understand and get accustomed to the new commands. Due to issues on our end, we didn't keep up with his training between a couple of the sessions, and the results were not as hoped for. That being said, when Mackenzie arrived for the following session, she would get him into shape before the end of the session and get us back on track. Again, Mackenzie is amazing, and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for help with their furry friend!
