We cannot thank Kylah enough for the incredible transformation she’s helped us achieve with our corgi, Westley. When we started working with her, Westley was showing significant aggression on walks, even biting us at times, and he was attacking our new kitten. We were at our wits’ end, unsure how to manage his behavior. We decided to send Westley to Kylah’s three-week stay-away camp, and the results were amazing. Kylah not only worked with Westley but also followed up with three personalized sessions at our home to help us understand how to maintain the progress and build on his training. Thanks to her expertise, patience, and thoughtful approach, Westley is now a completely different dog. While he can still get a little reactive if something surprises him on walks, it’s a world of difference from where we began. Even more amazing, he and the kitten are now best friends! We have struggled with our boy Haku for about a year working on his reactivity to other dogs, and his instinct to direct his frustration toward us or his sister teeth-first. After three weeks with Kylah, we saw huge progress! He’s so much less anxious, and he can now maintain focus on us even when there’s another reactive dog in the area. He is so much more relaxed when we take him out, and has even calmed down at home! He’s still the same sweet crazy boy we know and love, but having the tools to get his attention away from anything that might be stressful to him has brought us so much peace and allowed us to relax ourselves.
