Curated Canines Dog Training

I have spoken to Kylah a few times since adopting our rescue pup earlier this year. Even though we have yet to be an official client, they have had patience and have always taken the time to have conversations, answer questions, and to empower us as dogs parents. We really appreciate the viewpoint, couldn't be more appreciative, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for help or support in giving their pup the best life!!

Meredith and her team are the best dog trainers I’ve ever experienced. We brought our 95 lb untrained pit bully to her and she was able to get our dog completely off leashes trained, manners under control and acing her commands. It had been game changing for us and has helped us tremendously to have control of our dog and feel confident with our dog in public spaces. Meredith goes above and beyond, is extremely knowledgeable, has great communication and we know that our dog is loved when she is there. We call Meredith’s training “summer camp” because our dog is so happy and loved that she wants to stay longer. We’re so grateful for Meredith and her team!

We have a 3 year old English bulldog. We have tried multiple trainings with others to help with the pulling, lunging, jumping and reactive behaviors. Kylah was amazing on day one with her knowledge and training. We saw almost immediate changes in our pup’s behavior. Our walks are now with ease, loose leash in hand and are enjoyable. We cannot recommend enough, we wish we had started earlier with Curated Canines.

Our pup Ollie is a 1.5 year old Australian Shepherd/border collie mix, who struggles with leash pulling, resource guarding, and dog reactivity, which isn’t fun when you live in an apartment with lots of dogs. We took him to see so many different trainers and used various techniques, which would result in incremental improvement, but at the rate we were moving, we weren’t making a lot progress. We were exhausted and slowly losing hope. We decided on Curated Canines because they were a local business that focused on a small group of dogs at a time and they set up a specific training plan that works for Ollie. Ollie worked closely with Kylah for their 3 weeks board and train and by the time we reunited with him, Ollie was more attentive, understood leash pressure/heel, and responded so well to the e-collar. Walks are so much more fun for both of us and when we encounter dogs, I can get his attention more than ever. Our neighbors have also noticed the difference in Ollie. There is still more training needed, but Kylah has helped give us the right tools for Ollie to be more successful and confident.
