We are located 10 to 15 minutes West of Hartselle, AL. in the Danville, Neel area. We offer proven Champion Field Golden Retriever breeding's that align with the GRCA (Golden Retriever of America) standard for breeding. Our breeding age dogs have proven Champion titles & pedigrees. OFA certifications on eyes, Advanced Cardiac, Hips and Elbows along with Genetic testing. We offer APDT certified professional Obedience Training & Retriever/Gundog Training. We have a competitive training program for those interested in building a champion retriever. We have over 25 years working and building the Golden Retriever breed and years of knowledge with various breeds to help you build your next companion, hunting partner or champion level retriever.

Sequential Gundog/Retriever training program that offer multiple levels of training based on the customer needs producing a Hunting dog that works with waterfowl or upland birds.
This program is taught in coordination with and exceeds the Gundog/Retriever training program to prepare and campaign a dog to compete in both AKC and/or UKC/HRC Retriever Hunt Tests.

We entrusted our rowdy puppy with Colter at Castle House Kennels, and we are so glad we did! She came back to us a less rowdy, but still spunky, well-trained dog. We can now take her for a walk on leash or off leash. She knows how to sit, stay, come, heel, lay down, off, and quiet. She is, of course, still a puppy, and Colter taught us how to reinforce the training and taught us different methods to use. I could tell that he invested a lot of time into our puppy, and she was not only well-trained, but also well-loved too❤️
Colter and Castle House Kennels are fantastic. We were referred by friends, and we could not have picked a better trainer for our GSP. Our pup presented his challenges and Colter was very communicative the entire time. We could not be more pleased with the training received and the relationship developed with Castle House. If you are considering this facility, do it!
Castle House Kennels was the best decision I could have made for my dog. They took very good care of Duke. He made sure Duke was ready to come home well behaved. Duke was always clean, the kennels were nice and spacious, every dog there seemed happy. Duke is well behaved and you can tell the time spent by Colter stuck with him. I will be sending him back for more training in the future.

We left our golden retriever with Castle House Kennels for advanced obedience training for two months. When we dropped him off he was a lovable, high-energy puppy that we could not control. He was chewing through the walls, literally. Since being home for several days now, we have seen so much positive transformation. He behaves very well, although stubborn at times. We do not have to worry anymore and can actually take him out in public! He even helps us retrieve baseballs when they fly into the woods. He’s our family companion. We are well pleased with the training he received through Castle House Kennels.
