Calypso Canine

Before Calypso Canine we were beginning to worry that we wouldn’t be able to keep our baby due to how bad her behavior was and how she acted around anyone or anything. At first we were skeptical about if training programs were worth it but after deciding to take the dream dog program we were pleasantly surprised with how amazing the outcome would be, ever since the day we’ve picked her up after graduating we have experienced a night and day difference with our Dixie, she has been so amazing to be around and very disciplined. We can take her on and off leash anytime and anywhere we want without any problems, this was truly life changing for us and HIGHLY recommend this option for anyone struggling with owning your furry loved ones, Thank you !!!!!!!!

OK, first things first… I was such a skeptic. No joke! My babies are everything to me and I do not trust them with absolutely anybody. After reading so many 5 star reviews and talking to Mike over the phone, I knew that this was the correct fit and we wanted to move forward with their training program. Prior to training with Mike and Crystal, Goldie and Charlie were off the wall! During walks, they were pulling us, lunging for other dogs and out of control. We were at a loss. Granted, they are only 6 months old, but we wanted to start training early. We dropped off Goldie and Charlie for training and they were there 10 days. Mike and Crystal guaranteed that they would be different dogs when we picked them up, but we were very skeptical. Needless to say, we were sorely mistaking. When we picked them up on graduation day, Mike spent over an hour with us to train us as doggy parents so that we can continue the training. We were shocked at the progress. Fast forward to the next day and moving forward. Our dogs are so well-behaved and obedient. Even after day one, we are getting comments from other people how well our dogs are behaving and how obedient they are. They walk right by us with hardly any correction. The second we stop, they sit without any command. They also know their “place” command perfectly. I can cook dinner and go about my business without them getting off their cots. When we have guests come to the door, they stay in place. Calypso Canine has been a godsend and Mike and Crystal are wonderful. If you have any hesitation as to this type of training, please move forward ASAP. We had 3 dogs prior to this experience that are no longer with us and we did not train them. That being said, this is all new to us. We are both eternally grateful to Mike and Crystal and Calypso Canine for helping us in our training journey. We are looking forward to a calm happy home with our best friends. I cannot recommend Calypso Canine enough!!

I had been in talks with Mike over at Calypso Canine, after randomly coming home with a doberman puppy who was 8 weeks old at the time. Having two small children under 2 years — I knew training would be imperative as she grew. Our girl is 9 months old & we are officially one month post-training. She has been doing amazing! She sticks by us, recalls, off leash walking. Totally alert & waiting for our direction. She walks with pride beside us, allowing us to lead her (not her leading us, prior to training.) The fact that I am able to walk with her along with two children, whether it is down the street, the dog beach — we are constantly stopped with questions about our girl. We are just so thrilled to have invested our dog with you guys over at CC & will continue to implement the tactics you’ve taught us. Thank you for everything!
