Calypso Canine

My 2 year old Aussie went through the Dream Dog program about a month ago and my only regret is not doing this sooner! Walks went from frustrating, constant pulling, and barking at other dogs and people, to calm, peaceful, and confident for both my dog and myself! I feel much more confident having new people over in the house with her place training. I feel less frustration on a day to day basis with her not barking at every person that walks by. Overall, this program has brought so much peace, confidence, and assurance in our home (which was much needed with a baby on the way in 2 months!) Mike has done an amazing job answering questions from my first inquiry, to follow ups a week later!

We took our Irish Doodle puppy Maple to Calypso training and it was life changing. Maple stays in place until released, she doesn’t pull when walking outside and follows all basic commands. In just 10 days she learned to be an obedient dog. She is so well behaved and it’s so easy to take her to public places now. We keep training her every day so she keeps excelling her skills. This team did a phenomenal job training my impulsive 2.5-year-old, 50-pound Goldendoodle. She went to Calypso with issues like leash pulling, racing to the door whenever it opened or the doorbell rang, and jumping on people. After 10 days at Calypso, she no longer does any of those things. She follows a place command when someone is at the door and waits to be released, and we were able to take her to a restaurant for the first time last week without worrying that she would jump on anyone or run off if something more interesting caught her attention. She no longer pulls on the leash and has perfect off-leash recall. It's important to note that maintaining these behaviors requires consistent practice at home. We wanted a second dog but were hesitant because we didn't think we could handle it, but within three weeks of bringing our newly-trained dog home, we got another. Our new puppy will also be going to Calypso for training.
