Calypso Canine

Sent our dog Noah to Calypso for training. He was a very sweet boy but had some serious leash aggression around the neighborhood. Had some other small issues as well but they were all resolved after doing the 10 day program. Noah now enjoys more walks as I’m not embarrassed to take him around the neighborhood anymore. Loose leash walking with zero aggression and he is friendly with everyone that passes by. You do need to continue working with your dog after the training but it’s a night and day difference and we are very happy we chose Calypso.

I keep thinking I’m stuck in a dream… I remember dreaming and fascinating over moments when I could only imagine my dog never pulling on the leash again… Moments where I didn’t have to stress about other people or animals walking by… And times when I could simply call my dog’s name not 20 times, but just 1 time, and come right back to my side. Now, not only can I accomplish this with a leash, But also without one! I can go anywhere I want with my dog and I know for a fact that I will no longer have to fear anything. I still have my loving, silly, playful dog, But with the behavior of a dog with years of training! Like any owner who loves their dog as a child, I had hesitations about leaving my 2-year-old golden retriever in someone’s hands for 10 days. I also couldn’t fathom how my dog would be trained in such a “short” time, But it was true… From drop-off to pick-up, the experience was made very seamless for us. And every step of the way, Mike took his time to answer all of the questions we had and properly explain everything. I then knew my golden was in good hands, but I wasn’t expecting to receive my dog in such exceptional behavior. I will forever be thankful for Calypso Canine and for making my dream come true. If you have any doubts, I can guarantee that they will be gone once you get in touch with them. This is hands down the best place to train your dog. Don’t wait anymore and go get your dream dog too!

We can’t say enough great things about Mike and the team at Calypso Canine! Before finding them, walks with our dog Ellie were challenging and uncomfortable for everyone. She would constantly pull on the leash and choke herself, which was painful to watch, and exhausting for us. On top of that, recall and reactivity was a major concern, especially in situations where distractions like other dogs or people were around which was becoming a safety issue. Ellie came back to us a completely different dog—her pulling is under control, and her reactivity as other people and dogs approach is no longer stressful. We’re incredibly thankful for the time and effort Mike and the team put into making sure Ellie was ready, and for the ongoing support they’ve provided. Had my dog Latte do the 10 day program and he learned so much! He is a super anxious Italian Greyhound and they were able to train him perfectly. We even took him to a puppy Halloween parade a day after pickup and he walked amazingly right at my side no distraction could shake his loyalty to me. Pretty amazing for 10 days! Deformed bringing our next dog here sooner so we can start living better with these puppies. Thank you guys so much!!! Cannot recommend enough!
