I can not say enough great things about Courtney/Bold city k9! We had a Malinois and we were so uneducated on his breed, his needs and how to be the best leaders for him. Courtney not only trained our dog, but she trained us. She educated us on not just HOW to guide him but most importantly WHY. It was such a game changer to feel like we understood how he worked and what he needed to thrive. She always went above and beyond on our sessions. Never rushing us out and always making sure we fully grasped the lesson and knew what to work on till our next session. She was patient with us and even offered to watch our dog months after our lessons were over in the event I went into labor and had no where to board our dog. We drove an hour to see her and it was more than worth it! She gave us such a priceless gift of peace of mind. Our dog ran away, was reactive, jumped, nipped, a true “malinois” if you will. He just needed structure and boundaries set and Courtney showed us how to do just that. Now our boy goes on walks off leash, has amazing recall, can be in any situation and never leaves our side. Where we go, he goes. And that’s all thanks to Bold City! A true gift. 10/10 recommend.

Courtney and her training program are wonderful. While it was tough to leave our German Wire-haired Pointer at "school" for a few weeks, he came home with new buttons and new knowledge that we could not have instilled without Courtney. Wallace has always been a good boy, but Courtney has helped him be the goodest boy!

Our dog, Hubert, recently finished the three week advanced board and train with Courtney. Hubert is a 16 month old German Shepard, Pit Bull/Bull Dog rescue. A few areas we wanted to focus on were muzzling, leash pulling, and reactivity. Courtney went above and beyond! Hubert came back more relaxed and comfortable in his own skin. He loves being in “place” which lets us walk around and do things distraction free. He is responsive to commands and walks are now enjoyable for the both of us! When we picked Hubert up, Courtney was very detailed with everything she covered over the last three weeks, showed us how to use all leashes and collars, and worked with us on his new commands. We could tell that Hubert was well taken care of and became very fond of Courtney while he was in training. I am so thankful we found Courtney and appreciate everything she has done! I also love that she is a resource for life.
