Bold City K9

Courtney and Bold City K9 are amazing! Our pup had poor behaviors and was somewhat uncontrollable. We tried Petco and got nowhere with it. Our consultation with Bold City K9 was very informative and made us feel very comfortable with the idea of leaving our dog with them. By far the best decision we ever made, our dog’s behaviors following the 3 week Board and Train program was night and day. They offer follow up training and communicate well even after the 3 weeks. Highly recommended!

Courtney is a wonder woman! A true dog whisperer! I did the 3 week board and train with my 7 month old samoyed puppy because she just needed general manners and potty training was a HUGE issue since we live in an apartment. Winter came back a COMPLETELY different dog and we as parents have gained so much knowledge on how to properly handle her and how to properly redirect her energy to good things. We’ve only had her back home about a week but it is complete night and day. I’m not stressed everyday after work and having her scream at me. She walks calmly on the leash even though we’re still working up being calm with bigger distractions everyday. I would easily say this is the best money I’ve ever spent. If you’re reluctant think about it as an investment in your dogs future and safety. My working dog breed puppy was very destructive, putting everything in her mouth she could, very mouthy with playing and jumping up. She would also try to herd us while just walking around and although she is still at our feet all the time, everything else she has stopped. I don’t need to worry as much about her eating things she shouldn’t (blockage surgery is no joke) and running into the back of my knees like she used to. Courtney is the nicest person, she stays in touch and makes you feel comfortable about communication being open. She’s very upfront and honest about the dedication it takes to keep the training up and very clear and concise about training tactics. I love my dog more than ever now that I can let her truly be herself safely. Thank you so much from Winter and I, Courtney!!

My Rottie just attended a Board and Train with Bold City K9. The difference they made in her in 3 weeks is unbelievable! Before training she was an unruly "teenager" now she is a pleasant member of the family. 3 weeks ago I could not walk this dog on a leash, she is so strong she would pull me almost to the ground. Today she walks so well on a leash my 2 year old could walk her if I let her. I will forever be be greatful to the team at Bold City K9 for the difference they have made in my sweet girl and for giving me the tools and knowledge I need to help her be the best version of herself. ❤️

Bold City K9 is an absolute dream to work with! Our 4 year old German shepherd Lou worked with Courtney during a 3 week boarding and train. We mentioned we wanted to work on leash etiquette, and reactivity to other dogs and people. Before training with Courtney, Lou had the tendency to bark excessively, lunge, and pull on the leash when there was distractions like other dogs or people walking up to us. The first time walking Lou I could not believe my eyes or hide a smile, it was a worlds of a difference. Even with distractions present she pays them no mind! I’m so proud of the work that has been accomplished and I’m so excited to continue practicing! Aside from what was mentioned one of the biggest things I’ve seen Lou gain is confidence! She was a pretty timid dog and throughout the 3 weeks and after the fact I’ve seen her become more confident and less stressed in situations. I’ve really seen her begin to shine. I also feel like there has been more trust established between Lou and me and I’m so thankful for that. Courtney has been such a joy to work with. She has been so accommodating and helpful through it all, answering any questions we might have no matter the day or time. Our dog Lou finished her training 13FEB22 and Courtney was more than willing and happy to meet with us for a follow up appointment just a few weeks after to see how things were going and offering us different training tools and tips. I know Courtney and Bold City K9 truly care about what they do and have my dogs best interest in mind. I have nothing but good things to say from my experience, and I’d definitely recommend this to anyone looking for some help with training.

If I could give more than 5 stars I certainly would. My GSD was a hot mess. He was extremely reactive on-and off-leash, counter surfing, jumping on people...you name it! Courtney was able teach Sunny there are options other than reacting with lunging, barking, etc. She was able to concentrate on the negative emotions and teach Sunny more constructive ways of dealing with his stress and anxiety. As a result, Sunny has become a more calm, neutral and even happier puppy. Sunny is still very young, and he does have a way to go before he's "my dream dog" but he has a solid foundation, thanks to Courtney. Even more importantly, when you run a business your skills go beyond your trade. That is what makes Bold City K9 stand apart from other trainers. Courtney has been phenomenal! She is very solution focused and has taken a great deal of time with me to assure mine and Sunny's success. I can't be more grateful for all the work they have done and I look forward to Sunny's continued success.
