Blue Cord K9

Blue cord has been a blessing. The knowledge, training, and ability to understand the dogs needs and drives are amazing. So grateful to have found them and have been able to take my dog beyond my standards. Excited to see where we go from here with there expertise would highly highly recommend for anyone looking to do anything from basic obedience to off leash training to service dog and tasks you are doing yourself and your dog an injustice if you don’t reach out to these folks. You won’t be disappointed.

Blue Cord K9 has been a life saver for us with our highly reactive rescue, Rayne (1 yo, Pit Mix). After consulting with other local trainers, and tunneling through hours of YouTube videos, what set Blue Cord apart is that they consult and hold sessions at your home. This means that they got to see exactly what we were trying to deal with and then made their recommendation for a training plan. I was skeptical that simple obedience work together with a prong for correction would really do anything, but 4 months later, 80% of our issues are under control! Previously, we would have to crate Rayne in the garage if we had friends over because she would not settle down, and I had given up walking her because of her extreme reactions to people, dogs, squirrels, any noise really, and especially vehicles - to the point where she would be doing back flips pulling on her leash. We can now walk Rayne around the neighborhood with a (mostly) slack leash, and she has even started opening up to meeting people calmly. Rayne has so much more confidence too, knowing what is expected of her with the basic commands has helped relax her hyper vigilance and she handles visitors so much better. Larinda and Kevin were our trainers, and each session they made sure to clearly explain the work we would be introducing so that we had the confidence to carry it out. They were also so loving to our dogs, and understood the needs of a reactive rescue. They were understanding of our busy lives as well, and were always available by text for questions and support. We have a long road ahead, but Rayne is on the path to success thanks to Blue Cord. Do not hesitate to contact them, you will not be disappointed, and your pup will thank you!
