My rescue dog Lilo was trained by Blaise and he is just the best! He is so kind, patient and calm, which especially helps when dealing with a dog who mirrored her mom’s anxiety 😅 Blaise’s knowledge on especially service dog training was incredibly helpful in our case and helped us make progress in ways we could not have imagined in the beginning stages with our dog. My neighbors (who have known Lilo since the beginning) always compliment us on the great training and progress we’ve made with her in just 6 months. I never forget to mention the big part Blaise played in that. The same dog who used to be scared of grass is now confident, playful and well trained. I am forever grateful to Blaise and the whole team of BlackDog. Even before I booked our sessions, Becca (the owner) was so friendly and patient and took her time answering my questions on the phone. I recommend this force-free (!) facility to everyone who wants lasting results. It’s worth the investment.

I have two dogs that I was struggling with prior to working with BlackDog. The issues we had were having my pups around other dogs, as well as getting them to pay attention to me long enough to teach them some valuable skills. This is how we ended up working with BlackDog. My experience with Blaise and his group puppy training class was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we walked in, it was evident that this was more than just a job for them – it was their passion. He was happy to talk in detail about all the issues everyone in the class was facing and gave individualized attention and direction to each dog parent. Blaise exudes expertise and enthusiasm in every session. Their deep understanding of canine behavior and positive reinforcement techniques made each class both effective and enjoyable. Our pups responded incredibly well to their methods, and we saw noticeable progress week after week.
