Beyond the Dog - Dallas

We found Beyond the Dog through a friend using their training services in KC. We (unexpectedly) found ourselves with a new pup and a vacation coming up and knew we needed some professional help. We were directed to Megan from Dallas for a few zoom sessions before heading out of town. I was hesitant at first since they would be online, but am so happy we found her and it felt the same as in person. She was so wonderful to work with! Between sessions she would reach out and answer any and all questions we had. She was so detailed with her notes and advice and we are well on our way to becoming great puppy parents.

Beyond the Dog did an incredible job training my cat, Tantar. We worked with Megan, who has been so knowledgeable and patient. Tantar is our baby, but we've been having issues with him biting and scratching us and our guests. It was so frustrating. Megan worked with us to understand why he was behaving this way and how to address the function of the behavior. Using positive reinforcement techniques, we have seen a total 180. She even taught our cat obedience commands! We highly recommend Megan and Beyond the Dog!

I had an amazing experience working with Beyond the Dog! Hands down the best dog trainer in Dallas! My dog, Max, was very fearful and shy. We had done previous training with an e-collar, which ultimately didn't work and we hated using it. Our trainer, Megan, helped us understand the root of Max's anxiety and tackled it in a positive manner. Not only did we see results but our dog absolutely loved her. We found Beyond the Dog from a google search and decided to do a 5 week training program. From start to finish Megan was wonderful! She was super easy to communicate with, sent detailed notes after each week, and you can tell she really loves her job. Our main priority was leash reactivity and we are now able to walk around other dogs, sometimes without our dog Diego even noticing them. His obedience has also improved tremendously! During the program we boarded Diego for a few days and Megan sent us updated periodically with his training. Would highly recommend Megan as a trainer to anyone needing help!

Megan at Beyond the Dog did a wonderful job with our 4yr old Shih Tzu rescue! After working with Megan, our dog overcame his stubborn objection to using the pet carrier and was able to fly with us without incident. Megan also patiently taught our dog (and us!) multiple skills, from loose leash walking to obeying (and enforcing) various commands. Beyond the Dog was a great investment in a more rewarding relationship with our dog for the next 10-15 years. We recommend them highly!
