I don't normally take the time to write a review but John was so great that I'd feel terrible if I didn't. We hired John at Balanced Pooches to help us get control of our 1 year old Aussilier. He came to our home prepared, on time and full of knowledge. You can tell John really cared about his job and our pets right away. He did what he advertised and we now have a dog that listens and is in a better head space. I would recommend John 100% to anyone that asked and wish him continued success.

John was amazing! He came to my house and helped me train my German shepherd mix. My dog was a bit impatient and had a lack of focus, he would get a little bit aggressive now and then. After John’s help he has gotten SO much better. I know I will use this training for the rest of my life. 10/10 recommend, best in the area.

John’s training program was great and taught us the fundamentals we needed to build our dogs confidence. He provided us with tools and exercises to continue to effectively train our dog after the program is over. He was very patient, gentle and knowledgeable throughout the process. Thank you John!

Our 2-1/2 year old Frenchies were the most unruly, spoiled little brats. I couldn't stop them from jumping on guests and it was total chaos when we had visitors. I couldn't enjoy a pleasurable walk with them, they walked me! Within a week the change was remarkable!! John teaches you how to communicate with your dog. He taught me how to be a pack leader and take control of my boys. I have allot of work to do but he's given me the tools to accomplish my goal.
I highly recommend his program; it works.

John was great to work with, he really broke things down for us and explained to us how to train our dog.
He comes in and trains YOU on how to be a better dog owner. We have a rescue and didn’t know where to begin. Benny is a lot calmer and relaxed since. Definitely recommend John!
