We were pretty nervous about the idea of doing a stay-and-train program, but we knew we had to do something to give our puppy a solid training foundation. After my first conversation with Ryan, I immediately felt more at ease and confident that we were making the right choice for Charlie. Now that the program is complete, I’m even more certain we made the right decision. Ryan is incredibly knowledgeable, and it’s so obvious that he truly loves what he does and the animals he works with. He kept us in the loop with regular check-ins and shared photos and videos throughout the program, which made such a difference. It was clear that Charlie was in amazing hands and so well cared for while he was away. We always knew Charlie was the goodest boy, but now he has the training and foundation to prove it, and so much more confidence, too. We can’t wait to see how he continues to grow, and we’re beyond grateful to Ryan for the work he put in and the love he gave our boy. 💛

Our family has a very large Euro-bred Doberman who participated in the Board & Train program and we cannot speak highly enough of Ryan and the Balanced K9 Services team. During our pup’s two week stay, we received photos, videos and training updates from the Balanced K9 team, which included basic obedience training, healthy socialization with other dogs, and A TON of outdoor activities. From initial contact and our first meet and greet, through Board & Train and continued follow up communication, Ryan is very responsive and made it a clear objective to learn about our pup, as well as our family and lifestyle to ensure reasonable training goals could be established as a collective. We cannot recommend Ryan and Balanced L9 Services enough, especially for families with high drive, working dogs looking for a well-balanced, relationship-based training approach.
