From day one, Ryan was professional, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable, and he took the time to explain not just what to do—but why it works. The training was structured, practical, and tailored to my dog’s needs (not a cookie-cutter approach). I We got clear, realistic homework between sessions, and the coaching made a big difference at home because they train the owner just as much as the dog. We saw real progress in obedience and overall behavior, and I feel more confident handling my dog in everyday situations. Ryan is amazing. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, with an outstanding, easily seen passion for his job. He is readily available for any questions or concerns you have, no matter how small. He is genuine in his interactions with pup and person. We cannot recommend Ryan at Balanced K9 Services enough. Our german shepherd, Banks, stayed with him at his facility for two weeks, and the transformation has been incredible. Banks is now confidently trained on the e-collar, responds well to commands, and most importantly, is no longer aggressive when people enter our home or pass by on the sidewalk. Before Ryan began working with Banks, he would aggressively bark and jump at the window anytime someone would pass by. He also used to be very aggressive while at the school bus stop when kids would run past him. He is now well behaved and remains calm in these situations. Ryan’s facility is amazing, with a huge yard where the dogs can safely run and play. Ryan goes above and beyond for every dog in his care. He took Banks on daily walks to the park and even took him on bike rides to work on focus and exercise. It’s clear how much care and effort Ryan puts into each dog. Banks absolutely loves him and is always excited to see him. Ryan also made sure to send us lots of photos of Banks while he was staying with him. He also sent videos to help us better understand how to implement the different training methods. What really sets Ryan apart is that the support didn’t stop after the 2 weeks stay. He continues to make house visits to check on Banks and help us properly implement all the training Banks has learned. Ryan is knowledgeable, dedicated, and truly passionate about what he does. We’re so grateful for him and the positive impact he’s had on our dog and our home. 🐾

We have a 11month old male Rottweiler named Luca who has an amazing temperament but we definitely needed an experienced trainer to help us correct some bad behaviors like jumping on people, pulling on the leash and not listening to our commands. We met with Ryan and he interacted with Luca and explained how he would correct these behaviors. We decided on a 3 week stay training program and Ryan sent videos and texts of his progress and we saw a huge difference in Luca on the video from day 2. After the 3 weeks Ryan brought Luca home and spent time thoroughly teaching us on what to do and answering our many questions. We are amazed of the difference in Lucas behavior and how much calmer he is when someone comes to our house. The training now continues with Ryan at our home or in public depending on what we are working on that day . We are so pleased that we are now sending our 10 week old puppy Rottweiler Lola to get a head start on her training . We not only know of how talented Ryan is but have full trust in leaving our dogs with him as his love for all dogs is undeniable. We would recommend Ryan confidently to anyone in need of training.
