Loving Leaders Pack Walk Program This monthly program gives GOAT Camp graduates the opportunity to refine social skills, maintain training, and practice real-world application of learned behaviorsall in a supportive, guided environment. Bill is exceptional at what he does. We brought him our rescued Mastiff/Cane Corso puppy, Roxy, who had developed serious aggression issues. She would growl, snarl, and bite whenever she wanted to be left alone or found herself in an uncomfortable situation. We were heartbroken and genuinely feared we might have to rehome her to someone with more experience handling behavioral issues. Thankfully, a family friend recommended Bill. From our very first consultation, we knew we were in good hands. He took the time to listen carefully, asked detailed questions, and made sure he fully understood everything we had been dealing with over the previous few months. The one-on-one training is incredibly well structured and easy to follow. If you stay consistent (YOU HAVE TO DO YOUR PART!!) with the plan Bill provides, you’ll not only see significant improvements in your dog’s behavior, but you’ll also build a much stronger relationship with your dog. We noticed positive changes after the very first session. After each lesson, Bill gave us clear instructions and explained exactly what we needed to do at home to reinforce the training and continue making progress. His guidance made the entire process manageable and gave us confidence every step of the way. Roxy trained with Bill twice a week for a month, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The biting and snarling have virtually disappeared. In fact, since we started training, Roxy hasn’t bitten anyone, and I can count the number of snarling incidents on one hand. She’s learned several new commands, is much more confident, and is an overall happier, better-behaved dog. I can’t recommend Bill and his team highly enough. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about your dog and knows how to solve difficult behavioral issues, Bill is the person to call.

Behavioral issues as serious as aggression don't improve because of a few training sessions or randomly tossing treats. They improve because the owners understand that they play the biggest role in creating lasting change and are willing to consistently apply what their dog needs every single day. They know what works, and are able to communicate it to dog owners to set us up for success, assuming we put in the time. They don't rush you if you have questions and take their time explaining the "why". The handouts, videos, and information is great depending on how you absorb information. We have a long way to go... but now we know what we have to do and still feel like we could reach out for a refresher or with questions if needed! Would highly recommend.

Our English golden retriever puppy named Tala started GOAT Training Camp when she turned 6 months. Tala came in with guarding behavior, leash pulling, puppy teething, and us as owners who really didn't know how to train a puppy. Upon completion of the 4 weeks, Tala was a completely different dog and so were we. We now know how to communicate to Tala through command words and her leash, but also have such a deeper relationship with Tala because of learning how to play and build a special bond with her. Bill and Krista were so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable with Tala and our family. Tala's tail wagged with excitement every time she came in and saw them. We are so happy our friends recommended Balanced Behavior and look forward to Tala continuing on with the Maintenance Program with Bill and Krista!

We had tried other trading methods and our 11 month old dachshund, Logan, still had separation anxiety and reactive behaviors in various situations. Bill and Krista met us where we were, determined the most important behaviors to address and taught us how we needed to adjust and change our own behaviors to help build Logan’s confidence.
