B The Leader Dog Training

Our 9 month old COVID puppy was aggressive and antisocial until we brought her to B The Leader for training. Prior to our first session, she would bark, growl, snarl and lunge at people. We were afraid we would never be able to take her out in public or have friends over. without crating her After 2 hours of training, her aggressive/antisocial behavior began to fade and a sweeter eager-to-please side emerged. We are so happy with our new dog and the high quality training we received from B the Leader. Highly recommended!

The B the Leader team has been wonderful for our dogs and our family! We’ve learned many new strategies and routines for both of our dogs by taking our pup to training sessions. After just one session, we were able to implement new routines and expectations for our pup that were immediately effective and Julia has also worked with us to “fine tune” skills and practices that we already had in place. Additionally, the playgroups have been a terrific way for our pup to experience safe, healthy socialization. We really appreciate the approach that B the Leader takes to helping our dog become a welcome and well-behaved member of our “pack”. They are friendly and profesional and the services offered are a great value!

I'm just going to start by saying that Julia is truly a dog whisperer! If your pup is exhibiting any unwanted behaviors or struggling in any way, she has the solution for you. We've brought Nova (5 months) to three of B the Leader's puppy socialization classes so far and she's a totally different dog! She went from a very timid and shy mini husky to pretty outgoing with people and even runs around with the dogs a bit now! I can't wait to see how she progresses more over time. We also worked one on one with Julia for help with Nova and Mishka (9 months). We were struggling with leash pulling, barking, and some resource guarding from Mishka over Nova. The tools she gave us to correct these behaviors have truly made our life less stressful and happier on a day to day basis. Both Mishka and Nova walk directly next to us now, they only let out a couple "alert" barks, and Mishka has come pretty far with letting other dogs play with Nova now. Again, I can't wait to see how they continue to progress in B the Leader's program. All of this is to say, that I really can't thank or recommend the team over at B the Leader enough!

Julia is truly gifted at understanding positive leadership with dogs. She is also a patient and effective teacher of humans. My dog's reactive behavior DRAMATICALLY and immediately improved with her methods. And I am finding the lessons about taking up leadership with my dog to be generalizable to other areas of my life. Only two sessions with Julia and Liv have had a profound impact on my life. Best trainer I have seen.
