B The Leader Dog Training

I can't say enough about Julia and her team at B The Leader! We rescued Minnie, a maltese/poodle mix, who had high anxiety, fear of people/noises and showed some aggression. Shortly after, we hired Julia to come to our home for her orientation and follow up package. We didn't want this to be the norm for her or us! We were walking on eggshells. Julia was great about including the whole family in our sessions, addressing everyone's concerns and teaching us great principals about being a family pack in our daily routines. In between sessions, she addressed questions and concerns I had over the phone and I feel like I can reach out to her anytime. Minnie is on a great path for recovery and we feel empowered to really help her because of Julia's fun and kind instruction. Thank you, Julia and team!! Highly recommend!! Her service is worth every penny!!

We brought a challenging case and have received fantastic, hands-on training and lessons that made a difference in each session and that we've been able to integrate and further progress in our home environment. The sessions have been transformative in our dog's behavior, our relationship, and training and it's reassuring as we continue making progress and getting better results. Highly recommended!

I would give TEN STARS if I could! If you are reading this review and looking for a dog trainer LOOK NO FURTHER! I have a Pitt/Shepard/Akita mix named Mia with leash reactivity issues. I had a bad experience with a trainer who used positive reinforcement only for my large breed dog; which didn't work. She regressed and we spent an exorbitant amount of money along with an obscene amount of time on training that WOULD NEVER WORK. Julia is “The Dog Whisperer”, she’s like a Jedi that can connect with your dog without using any words. It’s amazing! I’ve only ever seen anything like it on Cesar Milan’s show. After our first training session we took her hiking the next day and she had multiple encounters with dogs and she did GREAT! All because we were given the RIGHT skills from the RIGHT trainer with the RIGHT experience. I was so happy I cried, I couldn’t believe it. I had become so frustrated working with the first trainer I started thinking my dog was “untrainable”. I was told by the other trainer to just “throw more treats at her” when she wasn’t making progress. Huh?!?! Anyway, I am so glad I started doing research and came across Julia. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable she is an absolute pleasure to be around. She is accommodating, flexible and funny! One of our greatest joys in life is taking our dogs out hiking and we can do that successfully now without any issues. Thank you Julia, we are your clients for LIFE!
