About B The Leader Dog Training
B the Leader offers dog behavioral training and classes. Owner, Julia Bowlin, has been training dogs since 2004. We specialize in behavior problems including jumping, biting, pulling on the leash, and running away. This is deeper training than basic commands. We teach you how to create a balanced coexistence with your dog in your daily life.

We require proof of vaccination before allowing any new pups to enter the play area. Puppies 6 months and under need to have at least three rounds of their DHPP vaccines and one Bordetella. I understand you have a play group. Is that for dogs in your training only?
We hold puppy playgroups for dogs 6 months and under on Sundays from 12:30-1:30pm. We don't require training for that but we do ask you call ahead to let us know you'll be coming! For dogs over 6 months we require a training to make sure all of our pups are respectful of our staff and of each other!

There was a delay in responding to my emails and little effort for communication. I was seeking this company for what they are known for and yet waited days for a reply via email as well as being told that they were not able to assist in service work which is okay, but all I wanted at the moment was to work on obedience more. I have replied stating I was okay with not having service work at this time and never got anything back. I understand that times are difficult and everyone is busy but at least be more professional as well as time sensitive on potential new clients who are inquiring. This does not look well for business. — This review is not an attack, because if it was this would have sounded more aggressive but it was not. It is stating the obvious and there was lack of communication. As I stated above, I UNDERSTAND THAT TIMES ARE DIFFICULT and everyone is busy, at least replying back in a time sensitive manner. Instead of trying to make a potential client the bad person when no one is crying victim here. So trying to view as a victim and saying I should be nice this is me being nice. When we both know how the conversation via email was so on that note. You have a wonderful day.
we are so glad we decided to go to B the Leader to help with our very spirited high energy pup. we came away with practical, easy to use tools to help us train our dog and we see daily changes in behavior. We are very grateful for B The Leader.
Julia has completely transformed our dog. The change is dramatic. He is much less crazy and seems comfortable with the new regime.

1st time there to train my Jack Russell and it was wonderful. The training session was much helpful in what I am doing wrong and how I can change to be the leader of this stubborn dog of mine. All of my concerns were addressed and I know I can start off with training to have a good dog. I am going back for a follow-up session to make sure I am on top of things. It’s more me that needs to be trained than my dog. With their program, I know there will be success.
