B The Leader Dog Training

PFM (Pure Flipping Magic) This review is LONG overdue. I have raised Dobies for my entire life and have had several. I have invested a lot of time & money learning to train them and have had very good results. Recently, we rescued a 6 year old female. She had been in a rough situation with some abuse and was allowed to run almost wild. After a few months I was becoming very frustrated with her as nothing I did seemed to work. We made the call to Be The Leader and set up an appointment. Julia quickly set about retraining me and then we worked with Sapphire. We spent 21/2 hours and went away with a totaly different dog. A month later she made the trip to Corvallis and spent a few more hours with her teaching and training us. Again a huge change and improvement. End result ... two years later and Sapphire has become an intigrated part of out lives is happy and flourishing. She has become a constant at my side. I can't thank you enough!

Amazing! Incredible! Just two of the adjectives my husband and I are sharing with others when describing our two hour lesson with Julia. Our eight month old golden doodle WAS not well behaved. We tried hard! We were consistent in our commands. No, down, heel, drop... over and over and over. We used treats, we used praise, but unlike our past golden retrievers, there is a stubborn streak in this incredibly smart doodle! She WOULD happily lunge on the leash trying to get to people and other dogs, she WOULD pull on her leash (even Gentle Leader) on walks, she WAS "bitey", she WOULD NOT come, she WOULD NOT drop, she WOULD herd us... Within thirty minutes of Julia's work we observed our pup transitioning. At the end of two hours, all of the negative WOULD's and WOULD NOT's are no longer true. We humans learned what we were doing wrong and here we are, three days later, practicing what we learned and enjoying this loving and loved pup to the fullest! We will be back for more human and pup training in a few weeks and we're looking forward to joining the play group in the future. Thank you Julia for teaching us how to help our doodle be her best. She is obviously loving her role of being a "good dog" and understanding our expectations of her role to play for all the praise and pets she is receiving. It's truly "amazing", "incredible", and even... "miraculous"!
