All Ears Training

I contacted All Ears because of their excellent reputation in this area. I wasn’t disappointed. They contacted me the same day and took the time to talk about my dog’s issues and their approach to training. Laska has been great with my dog, and my dog was always happy to see her arrive for our sessions. We have seen many improvements in her behavior since we started working with Laska. While we have more work to do, we have the necessary tools we need to move forward and have her be a great dog.

We engaged All Ears Training after adopting a pair of six-year-old labrador sisters who came to us with little or no leash training or discipline. Pulling and random barking were big problems. It took Laska every bit of the 12 or 13 lessons we had with her to bring things under control, and she did a masterful job. She began by gaining the dogs' immediate attention and devotion so that each time she came to the house, they were eager to please her and, by association, us. One of the dogs caught onto the treat training right away, so that most of our time was focused on the more recalcitrant of the two. The improvement was immediately evident to everyone who had seen us working with the dogs over that timeframe, and we continue to reinforce the learning to be assure there is not too much slippage. Laska is quick with praise and employs a systematic set of exercises that build on one another to reinforce each step of the learning. Our dogs were a tough case, and Laska rose to the challenge. Moreover, she is a delight to be around. We are so glad that we found her.

Laska and James are outstanding, and they make a fantastic team. My husband and I brought home a 3-month old Havanese, Max, in January, and quickly realized we were out of practice with puppy training after 15 years. James was friendly, responsive, and very accommodating in scheduling sessions. Laska came to our home and immediately connected with Max - he adored her from the start. Each week, we focused on key training areas, from housebreaking to basic commands, while also addressing the specific challenges we were facing. Laska is incredibly knowledgeable and brings a wealth of experience to every session. She listened carefully to our needs and tailored her approach accordingly. After each visit, she provided clear written summaries with practical tips to reinforce what we learned. Beyond her expertise, Laska is approachable, patient, and a great communicator. Most importantly, Max genuinely loved his training sessions and showed consistent progress each week.
