Working with Avi has been an absolute game changer for me and my dog, Ruby. Before we started training, I was struggling intensely with Ruby’s anxiety and behavioral issues. I rescued Ruby at 4 months old and now she is 4.5 yrs old. She has had a lot of fear and anxiety her whole life. After this past 4th of July, it intensified so much that it was impossible to walk her anymore. She would come outside but would not leave my driveway. Every little noise would make her run right back to my door to get inside with her tail tucked the whole time. I felt very overwhelmed and was losing hope. From our very first session Avi brought an incredible sense of patience, deep knowledge and a calm approach. He is teaching me how to communicate with my dog, understand her body language, and now I am more easily able to stay calm on walks. Now, if Ruby decides she is not going to move on a walk, I look at it as an opportunity to communicate with her and teach her. In fact, I was able to walk Ruby tonight with no issues. I am truly amazed! I have worked with other trainers and did not get results. I was told to use a special leash or collar. Avi works on the relationship between me and Ruby. He teaches me different techniques to use for decompression or distraction. Another issue we are addressing in training is having Ruby be ok when inviting someone she does not know into the house. She will usually bark for a long time and not relax. Now, she is starting to bark, recover and relax. Ruby and I have had about 5 sessions with Avi, and we are already getting these fantastic results. I am much calmer on walks now. I am also not feeling hopeless about Ruby anymore. I highly recommend Avi for complex behavioral or anxiety challenges. He is a true professional and an empathetic person who is giving me back peace of mind.

We had a wonderful experience with our dog trainer Ari, over four sessions. Our rescue dog Angel’s behavior has definitely improved, and we’ve seen a noticeable difference in her confidence and how she responds in situations that previously triggered unwanted behaviors. What I especially appreciated was that the training wasn’t just focused on our dog—the trainer also taught our family practical exercises and techniques we can continue using at home. That has helped all of us stay consistent, which has been an important part of maintaining her progress. After four sessions, we feel much more confident in understanding Angel’s behavior and knowing how to respond appropriately. We now have the tools to continue reinforcing everything she has learned. Excellent experience, very helpful training, and definitely deserving of five stars!

Very knowledgeable works well with my pig and my 4 dogs! One of my dogs had a dangerous aggression towards another one of my handicapped dogs. I was having to make a choice of whether to relocate the aggressive dog somewhere else. However, I decided to call AVI first as the last option and wow what a great decision! Avi focuses on aggression aversion in humane gentle ways instead of with chokers or shock collars etc. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Can't recommend Affordable Compassionate enough. We're in Coral Springs and our Portuguese Water Dog, Lili, who had basically zero impulse control — bolting for doors, jumping on everyone, no patience for anything. The work we did on impulse control made a real difference. Lili can actually wait, settle, and check in with us now instead of reacting to everything around her. Practical techniques, genuinely patient, and you can tell he cares about the dogs. If you've got an over-the-top pup, this is who you call. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My boyfriend and I reached out to Avi to help our 2 dogs who don’t live together get along. It’s a massive challenge because she is a mastiff and he is a border collie, they are complete opposites in terms of personality, but both are big, powerful dogs who were highly aggressive toward each other. Avi took the challenge head-on, starting with building confidence in both dogs. The results have been a night-and-day difference, especially for my highly reactive border collie. He is so much more confident now, and his leash reactivity has improved dramatically. The summaries Avi provides after each session are fantastic. They make it effortless to review what we covered and remember exactly how to keep working with our dogs between lessons. He even gives homework to practice, so it really feels like you're back in class in the best way possible! I will definitely provide another update once their training is complete and we reach our ultimate goal of getting them to love each other. Highly recommend Avi!
