My fur baby, Dusty, had developed some anxiousness and started biting after a we moved several times. The Pet Perspective team came highly recommended from a friend and have been working with Dusty for over a year now. Even within our first 6 weeks with them we saw huge improvements! I particularly love the way their team approaches training (holistically, through positive reinforcement, and pet psychology). Worth every penny!

I have used Sean, and A Pets Perspective for both of our dogs(one a Labrador Retriever, one Red Heeler mix) my Lab was the first dog I took to them. A juvenile at just under a year old, he is from a working dog background and of very high intelligence. As he was my first dog I wanted to ensure that I could train him to his best abilities while being able to shape him into a key member of my family. This was 4yrs ago. Sean took one look at my Lab at the initial visit, and began to tap into his intelligence, his attention span and some other behaviors I was completely unaware of! My dog was TRAINING ME with some things. From that moment I was like this guy knows what he’s doing! There was an instant connection between him and my dog, and then getting my young Lab to focus perfectly had me mind blown! After a handful of valuable sessions not only was I able to train, and work with my dog, but understand him better and establish a lifelong bond deeper than I could imagine. Which brings me to my dog number two the Red Heeler. Fast forward 3 years, my wife now wanted another dog for a long time. I was hesitant but open. We ended up deciding on a rescue pup. Which comes with its own world of challenges, but we were ready. When initially adopting him we were told he was a German Shepard mix(due to his ears and coat/markings at the time) boy were we off. Cattle dog tendencies started to appear, knowing what I know about dogs this pup was going to be high functioning, high intelligence, and also require lots of time being a rescue. An unseen curveball. Since my wife wasnt really in the picture with my first dog I wanted US as a couple to be on the same page with our newest addition especially with the breed of dog we now had. Haha. Off to A Pets Perspective we went again, initially with just the new dog, but then took Loki back to help them integrate together and become closer as well. Needless to say again, the in-depth experience that A Pets Perspective provided my wife and I with our newest dog, really helped us understand what he needed as well as how to have him become a loving comfortable part of our family. It’s been over a year since our latest dog, and 4yrs from my first visit. I continue to refer A Pets Perspective to clients, friends and family without an ounce of doubt in my mind of their ability. No matter how young or old your dog is, good or “bad” or has fears quirks etc they will help change that for you and most importantly for THEM! It helps you understand and read strangers dogs too, be a confident and aware owner and a solid team (within your family) to make sure everyone treats your furry family the same. I will always recommend A Pets Perspective, and though I’m confident in my own abilities to take what I’ve learned and apply it to whatever dog is in our future, I will probably end up going back again to really hone in on my next addition!!

"Train the human, trust the dog" Sean's method of training us is what every pawrent needs. Worth every penny, A pet's Perspective gives us dog owners just that. An in depth understanding of how your dog thinks and how to help them react better in stressful situations. His explanations are insightful and 90% of the learning won't even involve your dog. As a bonus Sean is very receptive to questions or issues months or even years later. Kaimana is also very helpful and has a great mobile dog treadmill program that helps fill your dog's exercise bucket. Of course they own many non reactive dogs that help your dog get hands on training. We will forever be grateful for turning our rescue pittie mix into a fun and loving pet.

The Pet Perspective Crew were exactly what we needed!! We rescued our first Doberman with no idea of how smart/stubborn they can be. We thought we knew how to train him because our other dogs were really easy, but quickly found out we were wrong. The most basic things: barking, pulling, not acknowledging his name, overly excited when around other dogs, etc. I will embarrassingly say I was extremely stressed and felt like crying when attempting to train our boy. With this being said I reached out to Sean and we began our 6-week training. The end results shocked me. In just 6-weeks we had a connection with Anubis that we didn't have before and training was actually FUN. Both Anubis and I actually enjoy working together 🤍 Sean and Kaimana were so patient with him and really listened to our concerns. Anubis loves you guys!🐾 Thank you both for for all the help and truly taking the time to listen to all our concerns. I couldn't recommend a better trainer. Sean and Kaimana are absolutely amazing!
