Our 8-year-old rescue had trouble with leash reactivity around other dogs, resource guarding (food and toys), and overall anxiety that made her unpredictable. We did the three-week board and train program. Tyrese and the trainers at Howling Good time worked with her to build confidence and focus, and establish consistent rules. She now has a "job" and directions to follow. She learned heel, sit/lay and stay, "Place," and an "out" command that's crucial for everyone's safety. They used a combination of training techniques and lots and lots of repetition to get these skills down pat. It's fun to practice with our dog each day - she looks forward to training time!

Tyrese worked with our 4 year old German Shepherd for a 2 week board and train and the results are fantastic. Our Kona was very reactive around other dogs especially on leash and would bark and pull on walks. He now walks in a comfortable heel position and does not bark at other dogs on walks. This is opening up a whole new level of training for us, as his high energy but inability to go on frequent easy walks was a problem. Now he is more relaxed around the house and is more able to maintain composure around other dogs. A great foundation for continued training to come!

My dog Otto completed the 3 week board and train behavioral modification program with A Howling Good Time Dog Training in September 2021. I adopted Otto in February 2021 and little is known about his life before then. He is a shepherd/herding breed with a high prey drive. Although he has never been aggressive with me, Otto is fearful of strangers and becomes reactive when triggered. After his training with Tyrese and his team, Otto gained confidence and obedience. Our walks have become stress free and I'm able to communicate with him when he exhibits unwanted behaviors. Tyrese and his team were flexible and responsive, providing updates throughout Otto's training and step by step videos to help me continue Otto's training. Since Otto's come home I have felt very supported. I don't know where we'd be if Tyrese hadn't agreed to train Otto. Otto has become a better a dog and I am a better owner. As long as I keep up with Otto's training and remain consistent, Otto will continue to be successful. I can't thank Tyrese and his team enough and highly recommend A Howling Good Time Dog Training.

We love A Howling Good Time Dog Training! My partner and I boarded our dog with Tyrese and his team for 10 days and then immediately started the 3 week board and train for her. We missed her so much, but our time away from her was well worth it. When we picked her up, Tyrese trained us and showed up what he had been working on with her, and our dog was like a new dog... well that is to say that Tyrese worked with her to create such a good foundation for listening, obedience, and being more relaxed. She still is very much herself, but a better listener and more obedient. Our dog is very stubborn, manipulative (or clever if you want to look at it that way), and nervous. Tyrese worked with her consistently and patiently in a way that is simple and easy for us to follow through with and build on. Beyond the excellent training, I felt very reassured and happy to see her wag her tail and go to Tyrese and other trainers when she wasn't training to be pet (something she does not often do to people). About a month after our training, we boarded her with Tyrese for a weekend, and the second we pulled up and parked the car, our dog almost ran out and ran to the door! She was SO happy to be back and to see Tyrese again. For me, this was a great sign that she enjoyed her time there and felt comfortable with them. I enjoyed our vacation so much more knowing that she was also having a good time. In the end, I realized that thanks to Tyrese, I just enjoy my time with my dog more and like her more! I love going on walks with her now which as before sometimes I did and sometimes I didn't because she was sometimes a good walker and plenty of times she directed the whole walk. I was unsure how well she would respond to training since we've had her for 3 years and she is 4 but I learned that it is never too late! I recommend Tyrese to anyone and everyone that is looking for any sort of training with a dog (from basic obedience to more socialization to more aggressive behaviors). Tyrese and his team are worth. every. penny.

We just picked up our dog Enzo from a 2 week Board and Train with Tyrese and A Howling Good Time Dog Training. Enzo is a very nervous dog. Tyrese was able to teach Enzo basic obedience and focus. Tyrese also takes the time to send you update videos and on pick up day spends time explaining things and teaching you what your dog learned. If you are looking for a trainer that listens to your concerns and puts together a program that works best for each individual dog. I highly recommend A Howling Good Time Dog Training. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dogs.
