My 3.5-year-old dog has fear aggression and we were having to rehome him. I found A Howling Good Time Dog Training and sent him for the 4-week board and train program. Tyrese implemented structure into my dog's life so he can confidently obey commands. He also worked on fear aggression and what is acceptable behavior. I can now confidently go on walks and be in my home without worry. The training went so well I brought my 2-year-old dog for the 3-week board and train program for general obedience when I picked up the first dog. I came from Michigan for two separate trips, which shows how well A Howling Good Time worked for my family. The videos provided are a step above and beyond other training programs and help you keep up the work once you are home. Tyrese is always available to help answer questions or remind you of the training steps for your dog. Each training class is designed around each dog's specifics needs.

Where to even begin! Tyrese went above and beyond with our 4-month old puppy, Biscuit. The care and attention he gave our dog were second to none. This is exactly what we were looking for in a trainer. After visiting more commercial trainers we didn't feel like they would give our dog the personal attention he needed. We brought in our Australian Cattle Dog, Biscuit, and had him board with Tyrese for 3-weeks. Prior to Tyrese, Biscuit was not able to walk with us or heel. He was also resource guarding and was a bit bity. He would often bark in the crate, and being in an apartment complex we couldn't have him barking. After receiving him from Tyrese it was like night and day. Biscuit now is able to walk with us, is calm in the crate, and is able to drop anything he has in his mouth with the "out" command. He is now a much more well-behaved dog. One of the more impressive aspects of Tyrese's training is his follow-up. After the 3-week training, Tyrese ensured that we could continue the training by giving us a program and following up with us at our home multiple times. He really cares about the dogs he trains! During the entire 3 weeks, Tyrese was sending us videos of Biscuits' progress and training via Whatsapp. It was great to see Biscuits' progress as well as to learn what commands he was learning. Tyrese even took our dog to stores to practice the heel command around people and distractions! This great training now shows when we walk Biscuit around our area, as he doesn't run towards people or other dogs, and doesn't get as easily distracted. We cannot recommend Tyrese enough. His training facility is nice and clean, he is super kind and you can tell he has a tremendous amount of experience with dogs just by talking to him. If you want a well-behaved dog with great care and attention from an experienced trainer, Tyrese and a Howling Good Time is the place to go.

I posted a review on his Facebook page, but forgot to do it here. Tyrese is amazing. I sent him my sweet, completely deaf , but impossible to train 10 month old pitbull puppy. She came back knowing EVERYTHING! Sit, stay, come. So much calmer. He sent videos, taught us what to do and we are forever grateful. We kept up with it too. Majorly important. She's now the best trained dog ever. Highly recommend Tyrese. And he's easy to work with

Just a top notch trainer with a very effective program. Whatever your problems are, your dog goes in for either full day sessions or a longer boarding session and you get video instructions on how to correct whatever the problem is you're working on. It really empowers you as the dog owner to take the training into your own hands. We had two boys that were fighting and it was almost instantaneously fixed and we had the tools and resources to prevent it from happening and now it's a non-issue. I can't recommend Tyrese enough. Good trainers are hard to come by, and he's one of them. Tyrese worked with our schedule and was very flexible and accommodating, working with our specific dates for boarding so we could go on vacation, and worked on training while we were away, so we didn't have to worry about our boys while we were gone.
