Our one-year-old Vizsla, Clarence, did the 4 week board and train program with Tyrese and the results were amazing! We needed help with basic obedience, not jumping up, and recall. Tyrese and his team did all that, and more. Clarence is still the same quirky and goofy dog he was before going to Tyrese , but now, he doesn’t accost people who come to our door or jump on people if we stop to talk to neighbors on walks, he comes when I call him every time, and I can take him anywhere— pet store, outdoor dining, etc-- and trust that he will walk or sit quietly without pulling me around. What I really love about Tyrese is that he fits his training to the dog, not the other way around. He and his team diligently built a strong foundation of obedience and trust with Clarence, and set us up for success by providing us the tools to do the same when we went home. I also appreciate that Tyrese is invested in the long-term success of the training and provides follow-up support long after the dog leaves his facility. I've been recommending Tyrese's program to everyone I talk to since we took Clarence home!

I have worked with numerous trainers in the Dane County area with my large great dane who has been dog reactive for years and I was excited to learn more from Tyrese and his staff so that I could keep growing and learning with my dog while managing is reactivity. Due to his impulsive, reactive behaviors, my dog's world was quite small. We couldnt do much in public and if we did, he was extremely nervous and lacked confidence. I wanted to work through reactivity while also minimizing his anxiety and fear of the outside world but do it in a structured and safe environment with another professional to guide us along the way. With my work done over the years with other trainers, my dog and I had a very strong bond and very good foundation but I wanted more for him. I felt very safe pushing me and my fog to a new level with Tyrese in these new settings. I did six private sessions with him where some were in my home but others were in public places. We even had several private sessions at my dog daycare that I own with one of his trainer's dogs to get him exposure to other dogs in a structured and safe environment. I am so incredibly proud of my dog for pushing past some fears but also trusting me and growing with me along the way. I am growing as a trainer and I can't do it without the help of other knowledgeable trainers to push us as well. I appreciate Tyrese's philosophy and explanations of things because it made a lot of sense to me. I look forward to working with Tyrese in the future when we are ready to take it up another level. My dog Chloe just returned from the 4wk training program. She’s gone through a lot of major changes this year (moving, adding a child to the home, new environments) and she was struggling with the adjustments. She had started to exhibit signs of escalating anxiety with people and aggression with other dogs which was obviously concerning with a young child at home. In addition, while she was pretty good with basic obedience, she had always been really difficult on a leash (pulling & selective dog aggression) and it was incredibly difficult to take her and my son on walks together safely. I picked her up today and she is like a new girl! She is still herself, but she has structure and purpose like she’s never had before. She has always been eager to please and I could tell she was excited to show me what she had learned when we did the pick-up training! I learned a lot from Tyrese and his team about what is trained/trainable & what is typically genetic/age related when it comes to dog behaviors and how to manage each part of what makes Chloe a unique dog. We just returned from our first family walk this evening and I could’ve cried when we got back. It was SO wonderful to be able to go out and not struggle managing with a stroller and walking her at the same time. I will follow up this review in a few weeks with how she is doing further out from the program, but as of today I can’t recommend Tyrese enough! Thank you!
