I reached out to Aimee when I was very lost about what to do next to help fix my girls behaviors. Right off the bat she was very quick to respond. She took the time to answer all my questions and she was very informative. The process of setting up sessions is very smooth and easy ! My two girls, Lyla and Poppy are both rescues so they both have complex personalities with very little confidence. From the first session to the last she always set the girls up for success! Lyla is very fearful of new people and can react quite abruptly but Aimee made sure to take it slow with her and create a calm atmosphere. Aimee not only helped me with training my dogs but also giving my dogs the right tools to help them flourish. From quality food to harnesses she really changed my girls life for the better. Overall I would highly recommend A.H. Dog training! She has helped me regain my confidence and understanding when it comes to helping my girls behavior.

Aimee has helped us as new dog parents with our cockapoo puppy Ellie! The information she has given us and Ellie has been so valuable. Ellie went from a demanding energetic pup to a focused pup that asks us for permission. We learned how to gain Ellie’s focus, control door boundaries, leash training, and to leave objects. She had all the potential but just needed the proper training and Aimee was a godsend with teaching Ellie! She even taught us all about proper dog nutrition which we noticed almost immediately when we switched Ellie’s diet. Ellie also had a fear of vacuums which Aimee helped us to desensitize her to the scary noise. We’re so happy to have worked with Aimee and would definitely recommend her!

Our vet recommended Aimee to us which turned out to be the best thing we could have done for our dogs and ourselves! Our whole mindset has shifted allowing us to understand our dogs better which made for a more successful journey. Our new addition, Shelby, who is now 7 months old,learned a great deal in a short amount of time and has earned a Canine Good Citizen certificate. Our 8 year old mixed breed, Belle, is a reactive dog who is slowly changing her behavior because of what we have learned and practiced. Aimee is absolutely wonderful. She was incredibly hands-on during our sessions and provided clear, practical examples that we were able to practice in real time with our dog. My 1.5-year-old cockapoo, Maya, needed some extra support with leash pulling, barking, and a few other training challenges. Aimee was patient, thoughtful, and really took the time to understand Maya’s personality and what would work best for her. I also really appreciated the follow-up text messages and videos after each visit, which helped reinforce the training and made it easy to stay consistent between sessions. Aimee’s guidance and continued support made a noticeable difference, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly!!
