We offer Doggie Day School which is an educational and training program for your Dog unlike your typical Doggy Daycare! Our 10 Acre Facility in Colbert, WA is only 15 minutes north of Spokane, WA and houses a beautiful kennel and training room, full agility course, tracking field, tons of room to run, play and train, beautiful views and is a working vineyard. We are able to offer fully customizable dog obedience classes, boarding, board and trains, and lots of fun drop in education classes! With Classes offered in Spokane, Colbert, and Seattle - We can offer you the results you need!

I have been raising dogs since I was a little boy & over the last years 50+ years, have developed the gift of being able to understand them, their body language, and in essence, the ability to communicate with them on some level. After I retired, I decided to put my "gifts" and abilities to formal use and after a year of studies and exams with Animal Behavior College, I became a certified dog trainer. Using non-aversive positive reinforcement, I teach dogs basic behaviors such as sit, stay, come, down, etc. and help dogs with undesirable behaviors learn alternate more rewarding acceptable behaviors. In addition, my specialty is working with fearful dogs and dogs with aggression issues, with numerous hours of experience in doing so.

Specializing in fear, reactivity and aggression, we use only positive, force free techniques to resolve issues and create a happy dog. No behavioral issues? No problem! Seattle Board and Train offers a range of customizable dog training and puppy training programs that include board and train, day training, and private lesson services. We never use force, fear or pain to train dogs: no shock or prong collars ever. We use learning theory and ethology to develop data driven training plans. We shoot video of us training your dog which we upload to your own private Dropbox folder. All board and train programs include unlimited support for the lifetime of your dog.
