Zrodfx K9 Dog Training

I cannot express how much TJ and Eloise helped us. Our dog was the best of dogs when he was at home and with his trusted people. The second we would go on a walk, or out into the world, he would try to attack any dog within his sight. He dragged me down and I suffered a contusion on my chin and have multiple scars on my hands and knees and I was at such a loss - I didn't know what to do. To add on to that, I'm getting married and desperately wanted Indi to be a part of the wedding, but I knew at this point, that was not going to be a possibility. We had hired other trainers that gave us random 'tools' or 'techniques' to deal with the aggression, but no one ever took the time to figure out the root cause. The first time I spoke with TJ he could already identify what the cause was and what Indi needed. Sending Indi to stay with TJ & Eloise was absolutely life changing. They knew right away that his behaviors were fear driven and him having low self confidence. They not only have helped us understand how to correct his behaviors, but also ours. The entire time Indi was with them, they would send videos with progress and updates, and we saw Indi in situations that I could never have believed was possible (walking on a treadmill, being around so many other dogs, literally right next to him and he didn't even care, seeing horses walk right by and not blinking). We have seen such a huge difference already, and if we have questions - which we had a lot especially right after he came home and we can text them and ask how we should handle certain situations and they respond quickly with detailed explanations, understanding the why is so important and helpful - and really helps us see behaviors differently. Even our neighbors commented what a big change they saw, just by seeing us training in the backyard. I only wish I had found them 5 years earlier. They are simply amazing and if you have a dog with aggression or fearful behaviors these are the two to go to.

We decided to bring our lab puppy to Zrodfx K9 for training and what a transformation! The results are so much more than we ever could have expected. The outcome of those four weeks with them, which included a few interactive sessions with us as well, is nothing short of remarkable! Before the training, our puppy was hyper and overtired, knew no boundaries, and walks were a tug of war that often resulted in shoulder and back pain. Now with her understanding of 4 or 5 simple commands and getting the rest she needs, our whole house is calmer and walks are enjoyable. Best decision we made for her and for us!

We are incredibly grateful and couldn't be happier for what TJ & Eloise accomplished with our 3 yr. old boy Rio. We got him at 5 wks. old and he was a great and loving puppy. At around 2 yrs. he became increasingly aggressive, later we learned he was resource guarding. One evening he lunged and bit my foot, breaking my third metatarsal bone. We started searching for a trainer that had the right kind of experience to deal with our situation. Rio was a difficult case and our first trainers solution was to increase the e collar and to apply more dominance training. This only increased Rio's aggression to the point where we were scared having him in our home. We had reached out to our vet and also Boulder Veterinary Behavior Center , all we were getting was the option of drugging him or putting him down. These were not options for us. We were desperate and we spent the next day searching all of Colorado for someone who could help. That's when we found Zrodfx Dog Training. Within the first 5 minutes of talking to TJ we knew he could help. He understood what we were dealing with and that Rio was showing dangerous aggression to us, his family. We were pleasantly surprised to meet his training partner Eloise. Either one alone are amazing, but as a team they are dynomite! There are no better trainers in Colorado, we called them all. Turns out our dog is a high performing working line dog that needs specialized training. If you've been told to put your dog down, immediately call them, there could be something not yet recognized about your dogs specific needs. Rio has been home for a week now and he is a different dog, very well trained and obedient. We were also trained and shown how to properly handle him for continued success. Eloise and TJ were masterful at not only training my reactive dog, but also giving me the skills and confidence to continue to work with him once he came home. The were so communicative, provided clear how-to videos, and were super patient and supportive when working with me in person. My dog is completely different as a result of his board-and-train experience with them! He is now very confident, calm, and an absolute delight to take on walks and to patios. I can't thank them enough, and I cannot recommend them enough! (Yes, the photo is of a dog laying down. This is a really big accomplishment for my rambunctious, 90 lb boy who used to climb on to my lap when he wasn't pacing the house. He had been quietly in place for about 30 minutes when I took this photo. AND this was just after a delivery driver dropped a package at our door, which would have set him off two months ago!)
