Zoom Room Dog Training

I would not recommend this location. The staff here are very polite but it either is that they push private lessons or they don't want us ( we are black people) in their groups. I have had more than one experience with different dogs where this location pushes private lessons. In this latest time, My adult black son was at the training. I walked in with him and 1 particular dog was reactive but I watched as our dog ignored that dog. I came in again when it was time to leave and asked how he did.They sent my son and dog through the back exit but had the white person with their reactive dog exit through the front. I asked how he did and was encouraged to bring our dog back and that he was in the right place. Assured nothing concerning happened and that they just did this because the front was crowded with dogs at the release of the class. They ensured he was scheduled for the next few classes. A week later I get a call from the owner who wasn't there pushing a private lesson. Our pups have been no more reactive than any other dogs and are not biters or aggressive or anything like that. They all go to dog parks without issue. Now why would this be? I had a prior experience with a staff that was very rude when they were in Redondo Beach but I gave a 2nd chance. I’m not one to jump on these things but I also won’t make excuses. It feels wrong. I spoke with Sara who is the owner.

They have knowledgeable trainers that use positive reinforcement based training. They're responsible and sanitary-they require proof of up to date vaccinations and deep-sanitize the training room prior to puppy preschool on weekends. Many classes are offered, such as basic obedience, agility, or therapy dog training. They also offer a variety of training supplies, treats, and toys and are always willing to choose a product and troubleshoot what motivates your doggo. They provide the help and tools to train you to train your pup for a strong and positive bond.

This review is long overdue but my dog Momo and I love going to Zoom Room! I adopted him when he was 6 months old and was finding it difficult to get him to focus on me while on walks and found out about the obedience classes online. I was hesitant at first because Momo constantly barks at other dogs within his sight but after taking a couple obedience classes (shout out to Maz) he is slowly but surely learning how to focus! We also recently started taking agility classes and it has been so fun and such a game changer with our weekly routine!
