Zoom Room Dog Training

Training was not what was promised during the sales pitch. $2500 for 60 classes sounds ok until you are forced to use those classes for 30 minute private lessons at the redemption rate of three classes per private lesson. Realistically, I’ve paid for 20 private lessons, as the zoom room will not yet allow my dog into group classes. The evaluation is not performed until AFTER classes are purchased, so it was impossible to know that this would be the case. That means that I’m paying $125 for each 30 minutes of instruction. The instruction is simply not worth it. I would have been better off at Petsmart classes. Don’t waste your money. I’ve reached out to the business to ask for their input, and they have failed to contact me back. Terrible service, little care, overpriced, high pressure salesman.

I am so happy I found the Zoom Room in Crestwood! I have adopted three dogs from SPEAK! Rescue and Sanctuary, and as you can imagine, they all have such unique personalities and quirks. Training three different dogs is a challenge, but the staff here has been incredible. Most importantly, one of my dogs is deaf and vision-impaired, and the trainers at Zoom Room have been so knowledgeable in helping me navigate these special needs while still making sure we’re all having fun. It’s such a relief to find a training center that takes the work seriously without it feeling like a high-pressure 'school' environment where I feel stressed or afraid to make a mistake. The focus is entirely on positive reinforcement for both the dogs and their humans. I look forward to our training sessions every week! So do my children!

When I signed up, I thought it would be fun to teach my dog some tricks and train them how to do some sniff work. And all that is happening, but more important, my dogs are so much easier to be around and they are so much calmer. They've always been sweet boys, but I didn't realize how anxious they were. My friends and family constantly comment on how different my fur babies are now that we've had just a few months with the zoom room trainers.

My initial experience at ZR was very positive. Jack did a great job explaining the program and we ended up purchasing a $2,000 package. My husband and I attended about four classes in total. Shortly afterward, we had the unexpected opportunity to purchase a home. While this was exciting, it unfortunately moved us much farther away from ZR, making it very difficult for us to continue attending. Because of that, I reached out to ask if there might be any options available to help us out, or if a refund might be possible given the circumstances. I called twice and also sent an email, but it has now been over a month and I have not received any follow-up or response with a potential solution. As a business owner myself, I understand that challenges come up and policies exist for a reason. However, I also know that most of the time there is usually some kind of solution that can be discussed. And if not, I would still expect the same level of communication and follow-up that I received when I was first sign up.
