If you are thinking about getting training for your dog I highly recommend that you go to Zoom Room! They use only positive reinforcement and you will feel more connected to your pup through every single session you have. They are patient with the pups as they learn and I can’t speak more positively (pawsitively?) about Kennedi! She is the best trainer I have encountered and will make sure you go home with the proper communication skills you will need with your dog.

UPDATE: I need to correct several factual inaccuracies in the owner's response. At no point was I offered the option to convert my remaining sessions into private training. That option was never presented to me during any communication. Including it now misrepresents what actually occurred. Additionally, the crate setup described as a “temporary alternate location” was the consistent structure used successfully for several months. It was not presented as temporary, and it was changed without discussion despite being effective for my dogs. When I raised concerns about the impact of that change, the issue was not approached collaboratively. It was dismissed as a behavior problem rather than acknowledging the environmental shift. My review reflects my direct experience with ongoing account issues, lack of communication, and the absence of resolution when concerns were raised. This response does not accurately reflect how those issues were handled in practice. ORIGINAL: I invested a significant amount of time and money training at Zoom Room and was excited to continue progressing into Advanced agility. Unfortunately, the experience ultimately broke down due to poor communication, unresolved account issues, and an unwillingness to address environmental factors that disrupted training progress. For several months, my dogs trained successfully under a consistent structure: one dog working in the ring while the other rested quietly in a crate in a low-traffic location near the counter. They were not perfect, but they were improving steadily and becoming more regulated in that environment. Without discussion or collaboration, the crate location was moved to a high-traffic area near large windows and walkways. After that change, stress behaviors increased significantly. This is not unusual in training — environment matters — but when I raised this concern and asked to return to the previous location that had been working, the issue was dismissed as a dog behavior problem rather than acknowledging the environmental shift. At the same time, my account had ongoing technical issues that prevented me from reliably viewing or managing registrations for my dogs. This problem persisted for months and even resulted in a session credit being deducted for a class I was not registered for. When it became clear that the participation structure being enforced was no longer aligned with how classes had been operating for months, I requested a refund for unused sessions. I was told annual passes are non-refundable. When I asked for the signed agreement and refund policy documentation, I was told it had been emailed to me previously — to the same email address tied to the account that had already been acknowledged as malfunctioning. Throughout this process I communicated professionally and asked for clarity so we could determine a workable path forward. Instead of addressing the actual issues, the responses repeatedly defaulted to policy statements while ignoring the context and circumstances that had changed and were often delayed by days to a a full week of time. What started as a positive training experience ended with unresolved technical problems, unused sessions, and a disappointing lack of accountability. I would NOT ever recommend training here.

We frequent Plano and McKinney regularly, so during a paid evaluation at Zoom Room Plano, I specifically asked Karina whether passes purchased there could be used at both Plano and McKinney locations. I was assured this would not be an issue as both locations are owned by same owner. Based on that information and impressed by cleanliness of facility, I purchased a 10-pass package for my five-month-old puppy, intending to continue long term and attend either location as schedule allowed. Unfortunately, experience did not live up to those expectations. While I was eventually able to use my passes at McKinney location with some hiccups, process was unnecessarily frustrating. Zoom Room’s website and account system are poorly designed. Despite having a registered account, my login worked only for Plano location and not for McKinney. As a result, I was unable to register for classes online and had to call in each time, which was inconvenient and inefficient. Additionally, I had to manually track remaining pass balance, which is far from ideal. While I appreciated Karina’s presentation and well-maintained Plano facility, the lack of a seamless system between locations significantly detracted from overall experience. Will follow up with a review of the dog training experience at Zoom Room.

We hosted a dog birthday party here in October and wanted to share feedback now for others planning future events. The space itself was good, a lot of room, and the goody bags we purchased there were great (good items for the value). However, we did expect much more involvement from the party hosts. We ended up handling everything ourselves (ex. I asked for balls to be put down and the girls at the front desk never brought them), which was disappointing given the price and the expectations. If you plan a party here, be prepared to note you are mainly just getting the space.
