Zen Dog Training

I am so thankful for the Zen Dog puppy class. It's been such a game changer for us with our new Golden Mountain Doodle pup! We are not first time dog owners, but are first time puppy owners, so this has been a great way for us to learn how to train our pup. She's progressed SO quickly over the weeks of this course (as have we)! Gordon is an amazing trainer and has been helpful in all aspects of raising a puppy.

I have never had a dog before so I knew that I would need help training and socializing our new Boston Terrier puppy. I am so happy that I found and joined the Ivy League Puppy classes at Zen Dog Training. The classes are great for puppy socialization. The puppies are around the same age so they can learn to play together, and Gordon is there to help translate body language and suggest ways to make sure everyone is having fun. This has been useful for puppy meetups outside of class too. My little guy is usually very distracted at class and does not "perform" our homework very well, but I find the real value of the tools that Gordon has given us is making our puppy have good manners at home. Gordon's tools and games for play biting, leash walking, and general commands have given us much better behavior and helped me know what to do!

I found Zen Dog training on Yelp and reached out to Gordon from the great reviews. I purchased the personal training package with Gordon that comes with one 2 hour session and then one 1 hour follow up session. The pricing is super fair for this, esp when compared to a similar service from other places. Scheduling with Gordon was super easy. He is super enthusiastic and taught me so much, I almost didn’t have to call him back for the second session! From the very first training session, my 1 year old golden retriever’s behavior changed so much, and we were able to keep consistent results! My dog is happier and so am I! Thanks Gordon!!
