Yuruani Olguin is the founder of Yuruani Olguin Dog Training, Inc. She has worked extensively with clients throughout New York City, helping build relationships based on mutual respect and understanding. Yuruani is CPDT-KA certified and her training is based on force-free techniques, taking into account all aspects of each individual dog’s situation, including breed, background, temperament and, very importantly, household environment. Yuruani is also a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT). She specializes in working with clients whose dogs suffer from separation anxiety through a humane systematic desensitization protocol. Her goal is to help dogs and their humans live a happy and healthy life together.

Both Yuruani and our individual trainer were very responsive to emails and texts, responding very quickly to questions. I highly recommend both the sessions and class.
Really expensive Sana was not receptive to my agenda and questions

We just completed the Full Course with our puppy and could not be happier. Sana was so helpful and was a delight to work with. We were pretty overwhelmed and unsure of how to tackle the challenges we were having, but now we feel like we fully understand the way our dog thinks and learns. Sana makes sure to train the dog owners on how to understand their dog, which we found to be incredibly helpful. I feel like Ollie and I have a much better relationship now. The lesson plans were also great to have each week. Highly recommend!

We did 4 sessions with Sana and saw a huge difference in our dog’s behavior. We were having a very difficult time getting our dog to focus on us outdoors. He would also pull and sometimes bark at other dogs, which was becoming very stressful. With Sana’s patience and guidance, we were able to understand the reasons for this behavior and saw great results with the techniques she had us apply. Milo is much better behaved and manageable to walk now. We also feel so grateful to Sana for helping us understand him in a better way. Highly recommend!
