Yuruani Olguin is the founder of Yuruani Olguin Dog Training, Inc. She has worked extensively with clients throughout New York City, helping build relationships based on mutual respect and understanding.
Yuruani is CPDT-KA certified and her training is based on force-free techniques, taking into account all aspects of each individual dog’s situation, including breed, background, temperament and, very importantly, household environment.
Yuruani is also a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT). She specializes in working with clients whose dogs suffer from separation anxiety through a humane systematic desensitization protocol. Her goal is to help dogs and their humans live a happy and healthy life together.

Yuruani changed our relationship with our dog in such a great way! We would not be where we are today without her guidance. Our rescue was showing aggressive tendencies which is sometimes only natural with dogs that are saved from the streets and shelters. Yuruani's easy and calm approach at training was exactly what we needed! Our Pug-Zu is now such a loving dog and responds to all her commands. There was nothing aggressive in the training at all and it worked! We could not be happier and recommend her to anyone who wonders if she would be the right trainer for their dog! We can't thank her enough!

I was looking for a trainer to help with specific issues with my 4-year old wheaten terrier. I chose Yuruani after reading all the glowing reviews on Google (including one from a fellow wheaten owner), and I couldn't be happier. She is an amazing trainer who listened to what I needed and tailored the training to meet our needs. She also reviewed some prior training we'd done and explained why she uses her methods. After 6 sessions, our pup is on her way to being better behaved, and we feel we have the tools to get her there. On top of that, she's professional, yet personable and caring. The greatest endorsement - my pup just adores her.

Yuruani helped me learn how to get some control over my very excitable and impulsive Frenchie named Gus. She is very patient, kind and knowledgeable. Gus loved our sessions with Yuruani. They were very productive, and Gus and I both learned a lot. He's still a work in progress, but now I have the tools to help him along. I have no hesitation in recommending Yuruani's training services.

We can't thank her enough for helping to shape our dog. We are so happy that we picked her to be our trainer. We started with the full course, but then continued. We have been working with her close to a year now. She is very calm and peaceful. Full of great advice. She breaks down the situation to identify and target the problem. Don't hesitate to contact her -- it's life changing!
