FirstBarkStephanie was so great. She quickly assessed my pup's behaviors and needs, and gave me immediately applicable tools to make his transition into our family a joy. Yuruani Olguin is the founder of Yuruani Olguin Dog Training, Inc. She has worked extensively with clients throughout New York City, helping build relationships based on mutual respect and understanding. Yuruani is CPDT-KA certified and her training is based on force-free techniques, taking into account all aspects of each individual dog’s situation, including breed, background, temperament and, very importantly, household environment. Yuruani is also a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT). She specializes in working with clients whose dogs suffer from separation anxiety through a humane systematic desensitization protocol. Her goal is to help dogs and their humans live a happy and healthy life together.

We are so grateful to Yuruani! Definitely enrolling in her dog training classes were the best thing we could have done after the arrival of our new puppy! We spent months struggling through online videos, blogs, books, and advice from friends/fellow dog owners. We were desperate and I was beginning to think nothing would work until we met Yuruani. She was terrific to work with and we could start to see a difference just after the first class. She is professional and knowledgeable about the science behind animal training. She is reliable and very easy to get in touch with. After each class, we receive a lesson plan of the exercises we covered and if we have any questions or recommendations she is quick to respond. Most importantly of all, our dog loves her! I was impressed by quickly he bonded with her and would follow her guidance through every session. I highly recommend Yuruani's classes to anyone thinking about looking for a trainer for their pup!
