Yuruani Olguin Dog Training

My wife and I adopted a 3-month old puppy in May named Clyde. We were both new dog parents and quickly realized we needed a lot of help to make sure Clyde was happy and well-trained. Clyde was a slightly rambunctious puppy who loved to chew on everything and tried to put anything possible in his mouth outside. He also is a very friendly dog, and he thinks every person and dog outside is his new best friend. We worked with Stephanie for Clyde’s training through the premier program and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. We were growing pretty weary before Stephanie came to our apartment for his first session and in the first 15 minutes we learned more practical tips and tricks than we'd found through hours of Googling. Stephanie helped us to see that Clyde's behavior was typical puppy stuff and he just needed some more formal training and structure. Throughout the program, Stephanie not only had an amazing bond with Clyde, but she also bonded with us and taught us a lot about caring for a dog. She was always responsive over email or text for any questions and made all three of us feel like we were in good hands. We were so impressed with the breadth and depth of Stephanie's knowledge and expertise, and her poise in dealing with our pup even on his wildest days. We completed the program a couple of months ago and any time we get stuck working on a new command or behavioral challenge, we can easily think back to everything Stephanie taught us and apply it to whatever situation we are in. Highly, highly recommend for any new puppy owners!

I did the premier program for my 8 week old golden retriever puppy, Summer, with Stephanie as the trainer and I was overjoyed with the progress we made. Stephanie was loving, energetic and so knowledgeable and Summer responded to her immediately. They developed quite a bond as Summer grew older and after the program she is such a joy to walk and spend time with. I recommend Stephanie as strongly as I possibly can.

As first time puppy owners, we wanted to make sure that we did everything we could to ensure that our new Shiba Inu would be a well trained and well adjusted dog. We found Yuruani Olguin Dog training on Google and took a chance. We signed up for their puppy class and their private trainings. We worked with trainer Stephanie Ip and she was absolutely AMAZING! She immediately eased our nerves on the first class when we saw how quickly she taught our puppy to "touch". It was obvious how much she cared about what she does and the dogs she trains. And our puppy loved her as well and would get super excited whenever it was time for a lesson. She patiently answered all of our many questions and followed up every class with a lesson plan as well as links to products she recommends and sites that we might find informative. At the end of the training our puppy knew all of his basic commands and was well socialized with other dogs. I would highly recommend this training school and if you can get Stephanie as your dog's trainer than you can be sure you are in good hands!

My partner and I became first time puppy parents in October. We worked with Stephanie for Franklin's 1:1 training through their premier program and could not recommend them more highly. Franklin was 12 weeks old when we brought him home and while he is sweet-natured and eager to please, he was an anxious, chew-happy puppy who did not seem to be motivated by treats at all. Stephanie helped us find *magic* treats and methods that had Franklin enthusiastic about any and all tricks Stephanie taught him in each session. She was responsive over text as questions came up and truly made us feel so confident in the process.

We hired Stephanie for several in-home training sessions for our corgi puppy when we were feeling overwhelmed. From our first session, we could see that she was extremely good with our dog and could provide us with tools for a well-trained pet. After weekly sessions for about a month, we feel much more confident in our abilities training our puppy, and we have already seen so much progress. We could not recommend Stephanie more highly.
