Your Dog's Best Friend

We've had a couple sessions with Brianna from YDBF and I would highly recommend. We reached out because we had a new rescue dog with a history of biting and we'd seen him exhibit this behavior at home when people came in the house despite being totally loving to us. Having her guidance and delivering it in our home where we can work on the actual situations has been invaluable. Our little guy has a little ways to go but we learned so many helpful things after one session about why he was doing what he was doing and we were able to use her tricks and observations to help him. He's shown great improvement after just one session. We had her back again to 'train the humans' where she reminded us of some items we were forgetting and made more observations about his behavior and just had a wealth of information overall. I love that this is an option that allows us to work at our pace, in his space where he exhibits the issues, and at a reasonable cost. We were afraid we would have to return him to the rescue and now he's able to be a forever part of our family. Thanks so much!!

Where do I start! Freddie is an amazing dog trainer. But I feel “trainer” isn’t the right word. He is dog translator! We adopted our beagle, Wally, at 10 months old, and let me tell you the first few weeks were incredibly stressful. Long story short, Freddie showed us that Wally felt the same. He was as equally stressed as we were. Which was the cause of most of his “behavior issues.” It turned out, it wasn’t Wally. It was us. Freddie is so good at translating dog language to human language. He showed us that Wally was acting out in response to our emotions/actions. Freddie taught us to to be calm. I can’t emphasize the word “calm” enough. Freddie taught us that calm AND confidence, was the answer to Wally’s “behavior issues”. Dog’s “behavior issues” = is a response to what us humans are exerting. The problem is us humans! Not your dog! It has been over a year since Freddie last visited our house. Wally is now the heart of our family. Wally is the center of our family life every day! Freddie truly helped us to understand and learn how to communicate with Wally. Thank you Freddie!

I cannot say enough good things about Freddie. His philosophy, communication, and gentleness around dogs was just what I was looking for. Only three sessions later, I have a totally different dog because I now understand what she’s telling me and how I can better respond in a way that makes sense to her. Freddie made sure my dog and I were a strong team and build upon the foundations of our relationship to make us more in tune with each other. I am looking forward to walking my dog again!
