We have a one year old German shepherd , we need help we purchased her from a breeder she is papered , the problem is she doesn't listen we had two shepherds before her with no problem .I'd like to know the training process , price and so on.Phyllis
Please call them. Megan will answer all your questions. We too have a pup that is very different from our previous dogs. We needed help too. We're now in our second class at YDBF and we've learned so much.

We reached out to Your Dog's Best Friend to get some help handling our huge Rottweiler/Mastiff rescue, Penny. She was too enthusiastic when greeting guests and pulling and being unpredictable with other dogs on walks. Freddie was quick to respond and very professional. He spent some time talking to us on the phone, and we scheduled a time to meet at our house. After just two sessions with Freddie, we have a new relationship with our dog! Freddie explained to us what was happening in Penny's mind and showed us exactly what we needed to do differently to communicate better with her. We refer to Freddie as The Dog Whisperer, but really we needed the "training" to see Penny's point of view and help her. Freddie is amazing. Thanks to him, we are all happier and less stressed. We highly recommend Freddie and Your Dog's Best Friend!

Emily is a fantastic trainer and coach for both dogs and their human counterparts alike! I came to Your Dog's Best Friend after reading the great reviews on their Canine Good Citizen course. The course was well organized and laid out to complete and pass the CGC test over 6 weeks. Emily does a great job teaching us how to connect with our dogs without treats or prong collars. She taught us how to look for cues in our dogs behavior to catch their attention before any distractions might take them off the task at hand. On top of getting through the CGC course and test, I've been able to apply similar techniques to help correct other behaviors at home. After just a month I've been able to get Lulu to completely stop jumping on me when I get home and she has also made significant improvements with getting over excited and jumping on our guests as well. 10/10 recommend YDBF!

I reached out to YDBF for help with my 6 yo Shepherd mix Sadie. Freddie was our trainer and I highly recommend him. In the first few minutes I could sense his knowledge and appreciation for dogs and, especially, the relationship between dogs and their people. He gave me the tools and the confidence to make changes in a positive way creating mutual respect between Sadie and me. We addressed jumping on people, lunging out the door, leash walking and counter/table surfing, all with amazing results. With Freddie's guidance and support we are able to be our best selves! I am sincerely grateful for this experience.
