My Newfoundland puppy and I just finished up puppy basic with Kim and I couldn't be happier with our sessions. The facility is clean and the classes are small so she could work with us individually. Each week she would come around to see how our home training was going and she was very knowledgeable about dog behavior and training. I really appreciated her taking the time to answer my emails regarding some questions I had at home. I also really appreciated that they did not use pinch collars or shock collars to train, which was a big no for me. The positive reinforcement worked well for my puppy. Looking forward to starting puppy intermediate! Thanks again!

Our three person family took our Corgi for beginner puppy classes and we learned so much! Ashley is so fun to take classes with and does a great job explaining dog communication. Our dog learned basic commands like sit, stay, down, stand, and a few others over the 6 week class. Ashley explained why these commands are useful and how to implement them. We are all signed up for Intermediate classes and hope to do Agility in the future.
Ashley also has "Puppy Playtime" for free on Saturdays which was so fun because you get to see puppies! AND you get to see your dog play and interact with other dogs.
We really learned a ton. I highly recommend classes at You and Your Dog Training.

I just want to thank Kim at You and Your Dog Training for helping me with my newest rescue. We just completed Puppy Basic Training last week and she was extremely patient with us as Mila was hyper and loud during class and I would sometimes get frustrated as I’m still trying to understand her behaviors. Kim had extra special Kong’s each class that Mila LOVED and knew exactly how to settle her down. Kim also would check in during class to see how Mila was at home, which showed me how much she cared even outside the classroom. I highly recommend Kim - she is patient, experienced and professional, yet makes class enjoyable for all!
