Yes Paws Academy

Jenna at Yes! Paws Academy has been my family’s trainer for almost 4 years. She’s trained Ben, my daughter’s Mobility Service Dog,—a giant Anatolian Shepherd—since he was 8-weeks old. He’s been a working mobility service dog for almost 2 years and is a complete rockstar. We recently had Jenna do a training session at the airport to go through TSA before Ben’s first plane trip. He was exceptional. Ben was so good, we had the flight attendants ask if they could film him coming aboard, and fellow passengers who got to know him while we waited, vied to sit with him. Now Jenna is training our Golden Retriever puppy Daisy. We started her at about 10 weeks—right after we picked her up from the breeder. She’s done several play and stays and a week-long board and train. At just 5-months old, Daisy is the best girl. I recommend Jenna and Yes! Paws Academy to everyone I know. She is an amazing trainer and always available to answer questions. Daisy and Ben love her and we’re already discussing Jenna training our next Mobility Service Dog. This time we’ll have Jenna pick out the puppy.

We recently adopted a puppy that went through Yes Paws Academy Boarded Train 3 week intensive training and have been over the moon impressed with our puppy’s progress. Our golden retriever is only 20 weeks at this point and sits, stays, does great on a leash, is fully kennel trained, potty trained and did not mouth or bite at all when we got her at 16 weeks. We had our first one in one session last night with Jenna and learned how to better work with our dogs skills and how to correctly use commands. I cannot wait to see our progress over the coming months. I highly recommend Yes Paws Academy!

Boarded our beagle, Milo with Yes Paws Academy and liked that Jenna offers a stay at home environment. Milo fit right in as part of her family. We enjoyed the personal touch with daily updates, including photos and videos of the days activities. Jenna provided Milo exercise and play time which was a bonus knowing he was getting quality enrichment. Milo can’t wait for his next Yes Paws Academy experience!

We have had the privilege of training with Jenna both virtually and for a 5-week-long board and train for my medical response service dog. Our experience was unparalleled - from afar, Jenna helped us lay the foundation with our pup from a very young age. Her lessons were clear, well thought out, and gave us actionable items to practice on our own. By the time our pup was ready for her board and train, she had a fantastic foundation and we were incredibly excited to have Jenna refine and solidify her task work and public access training. The results were incredible. My prospect was on the higher energy side, and Jenna was able to channel that energy into a well-oiled, discerning service dog. Since then, my dog has flown on 8 cross-country flights, has helped through numerous health issues, and consistently tasks reliably and thoughtfully by my side.
