This is our second time working with Woodland Kennel. Our first boy who we got 11 years ago is the best dog. He went to Woodland for obedience and hunting training and still in the field to this day. We spoke in depth with Geoff and it was important that we had a family dog, who was great with kids, but then also a firecracker field dog. We got our wish with Ziggy and just brought home our second boy, Bruno, back in June. He is currently at obedience school with Woodland and we can’t wait to have him back home trained. We will be sending him back to hunting school soon after. We miss him while he is gone but know it is 100% worth it to have him the way Geoff trains. Woodland has made our family so happy and we are so thankful. We have recommended Geoff and have had five of our friends who have also used Woodland to get their dogs and could not be happier!

We brought our Kona home from Woodland Kennels three years ago, and he has been an incredible addition to our family. He's the ultimate companion, joining us on adventures from the PEI Island Walk (435 miles!) to the bustling streets of NYC. His adaptability is remarkable; whether hiking in rural Canada or navigating crowds in Grand Central at rush hour, he’s right there by our side, happy and curious. One of his unique talents is his strong scent-tracking ability – he can find us in any setting, which is so impressive. He's smart, sweet, and endlessly loving, which is why we're now a registered therapy dog team, sharing his happiness with others. Despite his high energy, he knows how to adjust his excitement to suit the people he meets, making him a joy to bring everywhere. We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Woodland Kennels. They are an outstanding, ethical breeder of Labrador Retrievers, and both Geoff and Dana have been wonderful from the moment we first spoke with them and met the puppies, all the way through training and ongoing support. We’re so grateful to them for raising such a well-rounded, delightful dog. He’s truly a special part of our family, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience.
We reached out to Woodland Kennel 3 years ago shortly after we lost our dog Yogi. The house was too quiet & we needed a new pup in the house! Woodland Kennel answered all of our questions & we put our name on the list! We took our black lab puppy home in December of 2021. Hopefully I can talk my husband into getting a friend for our Reggie!! (Someday!!)
