Woodland Kennel

Woodland is one of the best gun dog trainer/breeders in the country. I watched my springer go through his master’s tests with Geoff handling him and mine and all of the other Woodland dogs that I've seen in tests consistently outperform the rest of the field. Woodland is a completely honest, hard working, incredibly knowledgeable, and very professional outfit. My master springer consistently impresses in the field, at tower shoots or during hunt tests. I cannot recommend Woodland enough.

After our GSP passed away several years ago, we took some time to make sure we were ready for our next family member. We did our research and wanted to ensure that we were able to find an ethical breeder whose dogs come from a great pedigree. Our research let us to Geoff and Woodland Kennel. After my first phone conversation with Geoff, I knew we had found someone that we can trust. My previous experience working with elite gun dog trainers helped me in the breeder assessment process, and Geoff quickly proved to be the real deal. Geoff and his family took the time to help us select the right pup for our family and provided us with all the information we needed to get our new puppy off to a great start. Their online courses are fantastic and definitely helped with the housebreaking process. Rocky is an intelligent and energetic pup who is learning very quickly and is already a great member of the family. Our experience with Woodland Kennel has been fantastic and we highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for their next dog.

Geoff and Dana are exceptional, and their commitment to making sure each puppy goes to the right home for them comes through from the first phone call. My 14 week old lab, is a happy go-lucky puppy; smart, social, and quick to train. He reflects the great start Geoff and Dana gave him and their years of experience in breeding great labs. Knowing I can always ask them for training advice as he matures was an extra and welcome benefit, and I look forward to sharing his progress with Geoff and Dana in the years ahead.
