Lora has a one-on-one approach to in home dog training. Lora takes the time to get to know each dogs’ personality and work on the owners goals. She explained the 3 week training process well and we knew what to expect. Our family saw results with another dog Lora trained and had no doubts in Lora’s abilities. Our 6 month old 60 pound male dog spent 3 weeks with Lora and we are extremely happy with his progress. Our older female dog is also pleased the puppy has much better manners.

I adopted my dog, Gizmo, from Pitt Friends, when he was a baby. He had a few training sessions, but nothing really seemed to stick. Fast-forward two years, and I found myself with an adult dog with barely any manners. He was fine with me, but throw another adult in the mix and he would become a ball of chaos- jumping on people, barking nonstop for attention. He walked fine on a leash, but was easily distracted by people and other animals. He was wild at the vet, often refused to come to me when called, and was showing some destructive behaviors in the backyard. I was totally at my wits end. It was my fault I had not gotten him adequate training before now, but something had to give and knew he was not going to grow out if it. Pitt Friends recommended Lora and I gave her a call. She spent at least 30 minutes talking with me to learn about what wanted Gizmo to get from training. She explained her methods and how the three week training would proceed. I immediately felt comfortable with her and set up a plan. During the three week board and train, she was in constant communication. I got reports and videos every other day, and she also communicated when he developed a little skin irritation. I truly felt she loved on him like he was her own dog. In the videos, I was amazed by Gizmo's transformation from basket case to calm, focused boy. Since coming home, he has shown off his skills at home and in public. It warms my heart when strangers comment how well mannered he is and it is all thanks to Lora and Winnabow. I highly recommend her if you are struggling with dog behaviors. You will not be disappointed!

Sent my standard poodle to puppy boarding and training and she came back a whole new puppy! Lora and Tania took their time explaining everything that would be done and working in collaboration with them, my puppy came back from training with her fundamentals down! Highly recommend as the service is done in homes as opposed to kennels and a more personal touch! Absolutely sending her back for off leash training!
