Wild Acre Kennels

The story of Dutch can be found in the previous review, I encourage you to give it a read. Breaching a contract by making medical decisions without an owners knowledge is wrong, but the immorality of the situation is what troubles me the most. I can't wrap my head around why someone would wait hours to pick up the phone and alert the family. Is it because most people don't answer the phone? I feel that due to poor judgement and decision-making skills, Dutch passed away without his family. If you're looking for training, boarding, etc., I can't encourage you enough to keep shopping. I can only hope the owners take accountability for their mistakes and do better. On that note, Wild Acre Kennels, have you notified other owners whose dogs were in contact with Dutch? Did you give them the opportunity to decide if they still want their dogs in your care? Did you move the dogs and properly sanitize the space? Look in the mirror and ask yourself if you've done everything you can to protect the other families from this experience. EDIT: I see there's clearly an attempt to bury this situation and save face based on the influx & recycling of 5-star ratings in the past 8 hours following this review. I believe future customers deserve transparency, and I simply don't want anyone else to experience what my family went through. Do what you feel is right for you and yours.

I bought my female black lab from Andrew and Raelynn back in October of 2023 she was trained by their expert staff and showed me all the drills that they went through to train her. What an amazing job they did in taking care of her while she was there. They answered all the questions I had and were very professional. I would recommend them to anyone looking for their companion to be trained and well taken care of. I rate them a 10 out of 10.

Three years ago, I didn’t think our black lab Daisy was going to make it as a hunting dog. She didn’t show much desire to retrieve and when we would try to hunt, she showed no interest. I knew I needed some help and I was introduced to Andrew two years ago. He took Daisy from not wanting to retrieve to being an amazing upland bird dog. She loves to hunt now and has a strong bird drive that she didn’t have before. Andrew really improved her obedience all the while making her into the upland dog I was hoping for. Can’t thank him enough.
