Whispering X K9 Training Academy

Tracy is an incredible dog trainer! She’s patient, kind, and super organized. We move often and she came highly recommended by other trainers across the state—and for good reason. Of all the obedience classes we’ve tried, Tracy’s has made the biggest difference! What I love most is that her classes are hands-on and active—you’re up working with your dog, not just sitting and listening. She gives real-time feedback and personalized guidance that you can apply immediately. Her fun, high-energy approach (with games the dogs actually enjoy!) makes training feel rewarding for both the handler and the pup. Since starting her class 8 weeks ago, my dog’s leash pulling has significantly improved, his off-leash recall is dramatically better, and he’s much more attentive. Plus, I'm more trained up ;)

We had such a wonderful experience working with Tracy! From the start, everything was incredibly professional, and the facility itself is clean, organized, and welcoming to dogs of all levels and backgrounds. I was initially hesitant to enroll our very energetic young lab, Honey—but I’m so grateful we took the leap! Tracy created a supportive, encouraging environment where both dogs and their humans could learn and grow. Honey has made noticeable progress in her behavior, and we feel so much more confident and prepared as dog owners. What made it even more special was the sense of community that formed with the other classmates. We’ve not only gained tools to better support our pup, but we’ve also built some great connections along the way. We can’t wait to continue with more classes—thank you, Tracy!

Tracy is hands down the best. I had taken my older dog to another training school in Bellingham previously. Despite attending all levels of the obedience classes they offered, she was never more than okay on her manners and her leash manners were pretty bad, if I’m being honest. I decided to give Whispering X K-9 a try, and I was so impressed. After following Tracy’s guidance, my girl is heeling beautifully and she is all around happier and more confident. She also earned her CGC title at 5.5 years old- something I never thought she’d be able to do. When we added a new puppy in the Fall, I of course enrolled her in Tracy’s puppy classes. She is doing amazing, and I get so many compliments on how well behaved she is. People are shocked when I tell them that she’s only six months old now. She earned her AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy title several weeks ago. I’m really looking forward to seeing her get her CGC title, too. Both my girls are now in the next level of obedience classes with Tracy (my adult is in the Obedience Community class and my puppy is in Puppy Stage 2). You have to follow Tracy’s guidance and practice the skills with your dogs in between classes, but if you do the work and apply what she’s teaching, you won’t be disappointed. I cannot recommend Whispering X more highly.

Tracy has a special way with dogs and it shows! She cares about each of the dogs in her classes and she helps you, the dog parent, to guide your dog in a better way. She guides you through organized classes and shows you the steps to help your dog thrive. She and her husband are lovely people. She shows you the steps and if you put in the work, you will truly reap the rewards. The classes are also a great way to bond with your dog. She helps even the most unruly dogs (like mine) be a better version of themselves... because all dogs are good dogs! Thank you, Tracy, for your love of dogs and for these invaluable classes.
