Wheatland Dog Center

We "met" Kayla virtually through my mom, who is involved in dog show competitions. When it was time to get a puppy, we chatted extensively about our family, our history with Labs, and our goals for this new family member. We really wanted a female, but I was comfortable enough with Kayla's ability to "know" the puppy that it was more about personality and temperament to make sure we got the RIGHT puppy. When the time came, there was only one female in the litter. We are so blessed that she was determined to be absolutely perfect for what we wanted! Ginger is all puppy, but definitely has an on/off switch. She's eager to please, excited to learn, and oh so loveable. She has been with us for a little more than a month now, and we absolutely couldn't be happier with both her as a companion and with all the support from Kayla before, during, and after her purchase. It takes a certain person to really embody making a breed better. This is Kayla. She's dedicated to what she does and her dogs produce absolutely incredible puppies. So much so that even though we never imagined ourselves as a more-than-one-dog family, my husband and I are already thinking about another puppy from Kayla in a few years. (And it means another halfway across the country drive for us from Pittsburgh, PA, but Kayla and Wheatland Dog Center are worth it!)

A good friend of mine (also in the Dog Training business) knew I’d always wanted a Chocolate Lab and pointed me towards Kayla. I was lucky enough that she had the exact right dog available for me at the right time. Kayla was kind enough to answer all of my questions, and much more! It’s clear she cares deeply for her dogs - which carries on long after they’re in your home. Fancy is absolutely beautiful and so good natured and smart. I’m lucky to have her. Thanks again!!

We bought a beautiful and well rounded pup from them in may 2024! Patty X cash litter, shes so far 7 months old and an outstanding example of the two! Shes currently in training to do service work for medical alert. Im so grateful to gone to kayla! ! My pups a great pup, her foundation of puppyhood is solid. Shes a well balanced pup & im so excited for the future! Kayla helped us pick our puppy based off their testing and my wants & needs. Perfect fit! We love kayla.
